When Square Enix and Disney decided to join forces, something magical was created. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts launched in 2002 and featured a fresh, interesting new look at everyone’s beloved Disney characters now interacting with the hyper-emotional characters of Final Fantasy. But with thirteen games that span multiple consoles, there are plenty of charac🍃ters that have been introduced through the series.
One character that appeared in Kingdom Hearts 3 that some players might’ve either forgotten or didn’t pay much attention to is Yozora. This silver-haired hunk of a myst🅠ery first seemed like a small addition in a video game featured in the Toy Story-inspired world that Sora visits, but it turns out that there might🐽 be more here than meets the eye. Who exactly is Yozora and what role might he play in the future?
Hero Of Verum Rex
In Kingdom Hearts 3, Sora, Donald, and Goofy travel to a Toy Story-inspired world called Toy Box. Similar to other worlds, the trio transforms into various toys to blend in with the environment. After meeting the iconic toys from the Pixar film, Rex the dinosaur mistakes Sora for Yozora, the hero of the famous video game Verum Rex.
Ironically, Yozora resembles Riku a bit more than Sora with his silver hair and overall badass attitude. The only thing that truly separates Yozora from other characters is his two different-colored eyes. His outfit is also similar to Riku’s as well, with just a darker tint to it and a patch on his shoulder with a skull and two Keyblades. Tetsuya Nomura, the lead director of the Kingdom Hearts series, stated he 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:considered creating🌞 a Verum Rex v🔴ideo game but op🦩ted to continue Sora&rsqဣuo;s story with Kingdom Hearts 4.
Secret Appearances
Besides the brief appearance in Toy Box, Yozora appears two more times in Kingdom Hearts 3. After watching the normal ending to the game, there will be a message in the main menu that there is a new video to watch in the Theater. In the video, Sora wakes up in the middle of the street, while Riku also wakes up in another part of the city. While Riku is exploring his new whereabouts, we see Yozora watching him from on top of a nearby building. Yozora puts his hands together to form a heart over the moon, the sign of ༒Kingdom Hearts.
In the Re Mind expansion of Kingdom Hearts 3, Yozora acts as the final boss of the game. He appears in a night version of the Final World, talks to Sora about who they really are, and then challenges him to a fight. Yozora wraps the pair to a rooftop in Quadratum, the location that was featured in the first Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer. Yozora tells Sora that he’ll crystallize him if he loses, but regardless of how the battle turns out, Yozora will wake up in the backseat of a car with two unknown allies.
Abilities
Despite being an optional boss fight, Yozora is the most powerful boss in Kingdom Hearts 3. Although Sora can technically defeat him, Yozora mentions that he is holding back his true power. The Verum Rex hero uses a sword and an energy crossbow⛄ in battle, while also having a few other tricks up his sleeve.
Yozora can teleport around the battlefield and telekinetically control his sword while firing energy blasts simultaneously. He has the ability to steal items from Sora and trap him in a net and temporarily steal his Keyblade to perform a variety of spells and attacks. He can also summon a ꦛdrone to fire additional energy blasts that will quickly overwhelm any opponent. These abilities are seemingly just the tip of the iceberg for Yozora, who appears to be an essential character in the future of Kingdom Hearts.
