You won't be able to synthesize the Ultima Weapon right away because the Moogles will not be at a high enough level. This is easy enough to fix, as you can🏅 level them up by synthesizing as many recipes as possible. The more complex and rare an object is, the more experience the Moogles will earn.

The reason this is necessary is that the recipe is quite demanding, so you'll want to reduce the resources needed to make it with an Energy Crystal (dropped by Bookmasters and Shamans). The Moogles will need to be Level Two to be abꦍle to use it.
