In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the Waldensians side quest focuses on the religious persecuti🎉on of non-Catholics in late medieval Europe, showing how the church, nobility, and peasantry clashed over traditional doctrine, new ideas, and personal gain in a fractured 15th century Bohemia.
It also expands on Father Godwin’s character, features a unique riddle that requires out-of-game knowledge, and gives out sizable rewards depending on how you complete the inquisition. Here, we’ll go through how to solve the puzzle, find the heretics, and list an♈y rewards for finishing the tasks.
This quest is only accessible after starting the Mysterious Ways main quest, discovering Uzhitz, and talking to Father Simon. It’s recommended Henry knows how to read, too. One of the possible choices requires a high speech skill, so bring a Bard potion. You can make it yourself at an Alchemy bench or buy one from the Rattay Apothecary.
Talk To Hanush
Go to Rattay and speak to Sir Hanush of Leipa. You can usually find him in the upper castle or the upper church. He’ll tell you about the archbishop’s Vicar arriving in Uzhitz, apparently looking for heretics — though Hanush belie♒ves ♑the archbishop is ploying to snag his estate.
Despite Henry’s reluctance, he’s chosen to assist the Vicar in his hunt. Hanush firmly believes there are no heretics, but 🅠if you do happen to find some, dea🍒l with them.
Talk To The Vicar
Next, head to Uzhitz and talk to the Vicar. You can find him in and around the Uzhitz church grounds. He’s constantly being protected by two bodyguards and should be easy to spot.
If you don’t want to lose any local reputation, don’t ask “Who are the Waldensians?,” the Vicar doesn’t want to debate his🦂 theology, even less so with a blacksmith’s son.
Ask “What can I do to help?” and he’ll tell you about the heretic they caught in Kuttenberg. Before being tortured to death, he gave a cryptic testimony about the location of a meeting place nearby. It seems to be a map starting at the Tavern in Uzhitz, but yo🗹u’ll have to work out the rest on your own (or keep reading to find out).
If you can read, he’ll give you the Heretic’s Testimony as a quest item. Otherwise, you can ask him to read it to you. Once you ask for the testimony, you need to find the meeting place within a day. Otherwise, you’ll fail the quest.
Follow The Heretic’s Testimony
Starting from the tavern, head toward the church and make a right, following the road out of town. When you come to a shrine at a fork in the road, take the left fork. Continue along this route, past the beehives on your right and through the broken stone wall ahead. Keep along the trail and, eventually, you’ll come to a junction with a lake in front and a fishing camp below it. Head to the camp.
If you don’t want to follow the testimony, continue along the West side of the lake until you reach the glade on your left.
Keep to the East side of the lake, going past the two willow trees and the derelict wagon in the water until you come to two bridges. Cross the left bridge. Finally, go down the path flanked by two bundles of hay, which takes you into the glade. Grab the wooden cross at the front of the meeting place, under the big willow tree, and head back to Uzhitz.
Talk To Father Godwin
Find Father Godwin and ask who the cross belongs to. He’s unsure whether to trust you since you’ve been hanging around with the Vicar, but eventually, he’ll tell you what he knows. The cross belongs to the Bauer family. Godwin suggests you spy on them and find out how they🐽 pray in their ho🌠me.
You can talk to the Vicar again at this point, but he’ll only tell you to spy on the Bauers, the same as Father G꧋odwin.
Go To The Bauer Farm
The Bauer farm is South-East of Uzhitz, just outside the forest separating Uzhitz and Neuhof. Hop over the fence — the farmstead is considered a private area so be careful — and climb up the ladder on the south side of the house and take the option to wait.
Don’t pass time as you would normally. Walk past the storage containers and eventually you’ll be given the prompt to wait. You need to be here within a full day of talking to Father Godwin and before 9 pm, or you’ll fail the quest.
Final Choices And Rewards
After th🥂e cutscene൩ plays confirming the Bauers as heretics, you have three options:
Go Straight To The Vicar
If you tell the vicar straight away, he’ll thank you for the help and give you 425 Groschen for your assistance, go back to Rattay and inform Sir Hanush of what happened. He’s surprised there were heretics but still rewards you with 375 Groschen and St. Michael’s Sword.
Convince Mistress Bauer To Leave
To convince Mistress Bauer you’ll need a high speech skill, so it’s recommended to drink a bard potion before speaking to her. All the speech choices can be successful but telling her it’s God’s plan for her to flee is the easiest option. Once successful, go back to the Vicar. Henry lies and tells him you found the farm, but it was deserted. He thanks you for the information and leaves in pursuit of them, without rewarding you.
Go back to Rattay and tell Hanush the Vicar is gone. Do not tell him you let the heretics flee, as you’ll lose reputation and importantly, receive no rewards. Be conservative with the truth and explain they’ve fled but no more. He’ll thank you for your help and give you 375 Groschen and St. Michael’s Sword.
Murder The Vicar
Talk to Farmer Bauer, who explain☂s the only thing that could save them is if something happened to the Vicar. You get to be "something happening."
Go back to Uzhitz and kill the Vicar. Remember, you’ll most likely have to deal with his bodyguards too but the Vicar himself doesn’t put up much of a fight. Stealth killing him when he’s asleep is the best solution here. Aside from their loot, including a gold cross belonging to the Vicar, you’ll get no reward from the Vicar for obvious reasons. Moreover, when you go back to Rattay to complete the quest, Hanush will be furious and doesn’t reward you either.
