From experience, I can tell you that the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 community absolutely loves the game to bits. It will cheer for even the slightest bit of acknowledgment the game gets. But when the community itself is confused by how the game made it to thi﷽s list, you know that something's not right.

Since the list was curated via a poll, it seems that most people simply voted for the best game they played recently. That being said, if this was a list of the best recent games, KCD2 would get my vote as well. As for what it has influenced not much yet, besides the urge to buy a full set of medieval♓ armour.
