However, scattered around each are𝔉a, you visit in the game are Cursed Chests waiting to give Kena a run for her money.
In Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Cursed Chests are very similar to what the standard variant looks like, except they have an ominous red hue around them rather than a bright blue one. For Kena to open up a Cursed Che💎st, she must overcome a spontaneous challenge that can range from defeating four enemies without taking damage or eliminating twelve enemies in under a minute. There are thirteen Cursed Chests total in Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
The Village
The Village is more or less the starting area in Kena: Bridge of Spirits and is the central hub of the game. There are six Cursed Chests total in The Village, accessible at various points throughout Kena's journey.
Cursed Chests will reward Kena with Rot, Hats, or even Gems, so it's worth seeking them out and trying to complete their challenges whenever you can. Below is a list of every Cursed Chest in The Village, along with their location, challenge, and rewards.

Head north from the previous Cursed Chest until you cross over a bridge leading to Zajuro's Shrine. From there, you will need to use Kena's Dash Abilities (this is the last ability she learns in the story) to pass through a portal. Follow the path in front of you until you reach a cave. The Cursed Chest is inside of the cave. |

Ruso Mountain
Only one Cursed Chest resides in the Ruso Mountain district in Kena: Bridge of Spirits. This Cursed Chest doesn't require any sort of late-game abilities or progression, so you can grab it as soon as you first enter the region.

Forgotten Forest
The Forgotten Forest houses two Cursed Chests, with its first o🐬ne having light puzzle elements to obtain it. Much like Ruso Mountain, these Cursed Chests are obtainable when you enter the region, making them easy to grab without worrying about coming back later.
The Forgotten Forest has one of the best Cursed Chests in the game, making it more than worth it to seek out. ♔The location, ✅challenge, and reward of the two Cursed Chests are below.

Teleport to the Woods Shrine and head backward from where the water is flowing. You will eventually see several Shrine Stones, one of them having pink characters illuminating from its front. From there, head towards the river and onto the circle platform. Use Kena's Pulse ability to erect three stone platforms from beneath the water. Jump to the middle stone platform and look up to the right for a crystal. Shoot the crystal with Kena's bow to make the platform you're currently on lift high into the air. Double-jump from the platform towards the crystal you just shot. The Cursed Chest will be on the cliffside. |

Fields
Much like the Forgotten Forest, the Fields only have two Cursed Chests for Kena to find. Since this region becomes available after Kenaও obtains the Bomb Ability, you would be correct if you assumed you must use it for at least one of them.
