It's been revealed that Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland's domestic abuse charges have been dropped after a court deemed a lack of "sufficient evidence". The public discovery of these charges resulted in Roiland being 168澳洲幸🎃运5开奖网:removed from shows such as Rick & Morty and Solar Opposites, as well as his resigꦗnation from Hi🔥gh on Life developer Squanch Games.During this entire time, Roiland has refused to comment publicly about the situation, but has now released a statement on social media following the dropped lawsuit. In this statement, Roiland states that he is still "deeply shaken" by the reports of his behaviour during the entire process and is "disappointed" that people were "quick to judge without knowing the facts". He also claims that the lawsuit was brought about by an "embittered ex" that was trying to get him cancelled."I have always known these claims were false - and I never had any doubt that this day would come," says Roiland. "I'm thankful that this case ♏has been dismissed but, at the same time, I'm still deeply shaken by the horrible lies that were reported about me during this process. Most of all, I'm disappointed so many people were so quick to judge without knowing the facts, based solely on the word of an embittered ex trying to bypass due process and have me 'cancelled'. That it may have succeeded, even partially, is shameful."
Of course, it's worth noting that plenty other allegations were made during this period besides the domestic battery charges. Roiland's behaviour was allegedly very poor even before reports of these charges were released, having reportedly been investigated by Cartoon Network over sexual harassm💃ent complaints back in 2020. He was also accused of gr🉐ooming fans and minors using social 🍷media - with many messages ꧅shared over the course of these events - so much so that his behaviour was allegedly an "open secret" in the industry.
It's unknown as to whether the information that came out after Roiland's domestic abuse charges were made public was used in the lawsuit, though it's unlikely considering the charges were dropped due to a lack of evidence. Roilands states that he's "determined to move on" with his creative projects and attempt to "restore [his] good name, bu🅘t it's definitely going to be a challenge.
