Unfortunately, it won't be the last time we're drawn in by the writer's ability to make us care deeply about these characters, and in such a short time.

Season 1, Episode 20

Wrapping up the Goodwill Event, this episode has a handful of great character moments wrapped up in an entertaining battle. Up to this point, the fighting has never reached the massive scale it does here, and we get a firsthand look at how so many sorcerers work together, our first ex💟plosive taste of the heights the series will later reach.

Specifically, we get to see Yuji and Aoi Todo's first team-up, and these two have some surprisingly incredible fighting chemistry. Gojo also gets a chance to show off, which is always fun to watch, showcasing Hollow Technique: Purple.

8 🌌 ♛Accomplices

Season 1, Episode 24

More than in any other episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, the battle at the heart of this episode showcases Nobara's Straw Doll technique and indomitable personality. Facing off not only against two very dangerous opponents but also her own imminent demise via poisoning, Nobara keeps her cool and turns the situation around on her enemies. It's invigorating to watch.

In a game of chicken with fatal stakes, we get to see how Yuji and Nobara work together, how each deals with the increasingly complex morality of the Jujutsu world, and, most importantly, how badass they're both becoming.

7 🤪 Hidden Inventory 4

Season 2, Episode 4

Not only is this episode the pay-off to two of the most shocking moments in the series so far, it also marks a turning point for Jujutsu Kaisen as a whole. While the story has had its darker moments in season one, the death of Riko, and the failure of both Gojo and Geto to protect her with their strength alone, introduce us to themes that will resona✤te through the upcoming Shibuya Incident and Culling Games.

We also get to see both Gojo and Geto at full power in their respective fights: both characters face this tragedy in a way that will completely change who they are, how they see the world, and their relationship. Gojo's transformation via his power-up is especially haunting.

6 Shibuya Incident - Gate, Open

Season 2, Episode 9

The last Gojo-centered episode that fans are going to get for a long while, and Gojo isn't just flexing his massive strength as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the strongest sorcerer, he's also showing off his quick thinking. No matter how far into a corner he's backed into, this episode shows us that he's strong enough to overcome almost any odds. Almost.

This is also the episode where we reach the culmination of the Gojo and Geto storyline. It's a provocative, emotional beat wrapped around the reveal of our main antagonist, and it centers on Gojo's humanity immediately after his God-like display.

5 Red Scale

Season 2, Episode 13

A▨ quest for vengeance, the build-up of a character who will become a fan favorite, and an intense fight, this episode has it all. Yuji is confronted by the brother of two Cursed Womb♍ Paintings he killed in the first season, and he has to fight for his life.

The unexpected ending of this episode teases reveals to come, and we get our first look at Sukuna this season. It's a well-plotted fight, and it leaves us wanting to see a lot more of Choso.

4 Thundeꦡrcl🧔ap

Season 2, Episode 16

Togi Fushiguro is unexpectedly back for one last hurrah in this episode, fighting none other than his own son Megumi. It's a match-up we didn't know would be possible to see, and it ends on a surprisingly tender note for the cold-blooded mercenary. While Megumi may not know the significance of this fight, we do, and it's a humanizing moment for Togi, if not a redemption.

More importantly: Sukuna! The King of Curses has arrived with an impℱressive show of strength.

3 Thunderclap - Part 2

Season 2, Episode 17

Megumi's cursed technique has been teased for an entire season leading up to this point, and we finally see it fully realized as he summons a dangerous, untamed shikigami. This reveal alone makes this episode worth watching, but the fight that comes next, when the awakened Sukuna senses the shikigami's energy and moves to confront it, elevates it from interesting to epic.

Not only do we love to see Sukuna showing off, but we also love seeing Megumi pushed to his limits. Jujutsu Kaisen is not only good at building ♓up hype, this episode 🎃proves it can deliver on it.

2 Right And Wrong - Part 3

Season 2, Episode 20

The culmination of Mahito, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one o♐f the most powerful curses there is, and Yuji's back and forth throughout season one. This episode starts with a well-written philosophical back-and-forth that reveals a lot about Yuji's motivations in the story. It also bids a fond farewell to two characters.

Just when things are getting truly dark, we get a revival of the Aoi Todo and Yuji partnership we saw in season one, and it strengthens both characters' fighting spirits. It's an exhilarating moment that leads into an even more exhilarating fight.
