Todd Howard Has Always Wanted An Indiana Jones Game
"It all starts with Todd Howard," Torvenius began. "He held this long-term vision and dream to do a new, interesting Indiana Jones game. He had the opportunity to pitch his core idea from a narrative point-of-view to LucasFilm Games. They were also very excited about it, and then Todd took the product to MachineGames, saying 'I think you're a good fit to do this'. Imagine the screams of joy within MachineGames as we were given the opportunity to work on it. We are super thrilled."
Howard is an Executive Producer on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and judging by his energy levels when the game was revealed, Howard is really excited about the whole thing. Both Howard and MachineGames have consistently talked about how e🅠xcited and supportive LucasFilm is about the upcoming game.
During the interview, Torvenius spoke about how "invaluable" LucasFilm have been for guidance and keeping MachineGames on the right track. He also stressed that Indiana Jones fans will get their fix with the Great Circle, but they've made the game accessible for non-fans who might be excited about the project, too.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be releasing December 9 for🅺 PC and Xbox Series X/S, and then sometime during Spring 2025 for PlayStation 5.
