When you think of characters being 'immortal', you'll probably think of someone who just lives forever and can't be killed. For certain game characters, it's a little more complicated than that.
Some can regenerate themselves back from even a single cell, some have a kind of supernatural element protecting their existence, and some simply can't be killed for reasons even they don't know. Whatever the reason, these characters are, barring certain extremely specific weaknesses, effectively immortal.
10 Geras - Mortal Kꦡombat 11 ⭕

Normal weapons are useless against them; if they're destroyed, they just break up into cell bodies that reform elsewhere.
The only thing that can kill an X is a Metroid, which are extinct at the time🦩 of Metroid Fusion. It was only🎉 thanks to the Metroid vaccine Samus received after being infected by the X that she, and she alone, could fight them.
8 Rꦡaven - Guilty Gear Series 𒐪
Raven was originally a German soldier serving during the crusades, at least until he and his unit met an untimely end at the hands of an enemy ambush. The only problem was that, after he died, he woke up, wounds healed and no worse for wear. He would come to find that no matter what kind of physical trauma he subjected himself to, up to and including complete incineration, Raven simply wouldn't die.
It's been hypothesized that he was born with some manner of genetic anomaly that facilitates this, and he once idly mused that he might be able to die if he could completely erase his soul from existence — though even that he's kind of iffy on.
7 ꦰ Wario - Wario Land Series ♔
For reasons that remain utterly mysterious to this day, Wario is completely incapable of dying, at least within the confines of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wario Land series. He can be frozen, crushed, incinerated, zombified, and all sorts of other nasty fates, but give him a few minutes, and he'll be right as rain.

Even separated, both Mephiles and Iblis are still super-dimensional lifeforms, making them virtually impervious to physical harm. The only way to destroy them, and by extension Solaris, was to go back in time and snuff out Solaris's flame before it could be harnessed.
