This ultimately fails, but after continually trying to open the door, you'll be transported inside in a sort of vision. Inside you'll see Alma standing in the corner of the room.
You can then exit through the other doors at the top of the stairs, and back you go to those same doors that wouldn't open prior. It's incredibly creepy because it's unexpected, and you don't actually enter into the area. It's an excellent little glimpse into what's to come for you later in F.E.A.R.

In Observer, there's a direct homage to the Silent Hill demo where once entering one of the rooms, you'll find it repeats over and over again, with different moments that are callbacks to what happens in P.T. The general atmosphere is brought up to an even creepier standard than what's already within Observer, so this easter egg easily stands out among a sea of them.
It's a shame not too many people played Observer, as this moment is 100 percent worth experiencing.
7 The Evil Within - Laura's Ghost
While playing as Juli in The Evil Within, you'll come across a broken door which continues to open and close, revealing the sprawling corridor ahead. But sometimes, while looking through this keyhole, there's a chance Robbie will be staring at you, pointing ominously. Stuffed animals in horror are already freaky enough with how often they're haunted or becoming sentient beings. Robbie's one we didn't need to see this happen to.

Luckily, Layers Of Fear 2 takes place on a cruise ship, where there's no lack of spooky moments and creepy hauntings coming your way.
In one section of the game, while walking down a hallway, you'll see a set of twins ahead of you who look strikingly familiar to the twins from The Shining film. For some reason, t🌜his scene happening underwater only makes it more f♊rightening.
