As well as the main story quests, there are many little side quests for you to do in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Horizon Zero Dawn. You can help out local people with th☂eir problems or save them from dangerous machines. Some of the side quests are actually ones you can do at your leisure and these are typically collecting some of the items scattered across the map.
One of the c🌟ollectibles that you can find is Metal Flower🥂s. They are found across the entire map of the game and they can be a little bit hard to track down. We have put together a guide that shows you the exact location of each one and tips on reaching the trickiest ones.
What Are Metal Flowers?
Metal Flowers are one of the creations 🅘that the Old Ones left behind. It's suspected that the Metal Flowers are actually a means of spreading seeds, c꧒reating real foliage in the world and this could be the reason each one is surrounded by a distinctive triangle of flowers.
There are three sets of Flowers for you to collect, MARK I, MARK II, and MARK III. When you have completed a set, you can take it back to Meridian to trade with Merchants for really good rewar💦ds.
Do I Need Any Equipment?
- Go to Meridian and buy a Metal Flower Location map from a Merchant. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Merchants sell lots of useful things and the map is one of them. The map will give you an indication of the general area that you can find a Flower in.
- Weapons and Ammunition of your choice. You're going to inevitably come across some unhappy Machines in your quest to collect the Metal Flowers, so you need to be ready to take them on.
- Full Health. This can be a bonus if you slip off of somewhere quite high.
Metal Flower Set 1
Metal Flower One - MARK 1 (A)
Location: The Ruins Aloy Fell In As A Child
Go to ruins and go to th🥀e area wher🔜e Aloy found her Focus on the body. Then turn around until you see this doorway:
Head through here 🅰and on your right there will be another doorway that's blocked by Stalagmites.
Hit the🅷m with your Spear and they will shatter. Walk into this room and you will see two large windows. Jump 𒀰through one of these and you will land on the ground below.
Look aroun🐭d you again until you see another open doorway:
He🍷ad through here then stop instantly. To your left, you will see another doorway blocked off by more Stalagmites.
Destroy this and y🦂ou will instantly be able to see the Metal Flower.
Metal Flower Two - MARK 1 (B)
Location: Northwest of Mother's Watch
The easiest way to get to this one is to fast travel to the fire at Rost's and Aloy's old home (near Rost's Grave). When you are at the fire, look around you until🅷 you see this doorway leading out of the home:
Head 🔴out of here and keep going to your right, if you've marked the location on your map then your indicator should show that the Metal Flower is this way. Keep going until you come to the edge of the rocks. You should be able to see this:
This is your Metal Flower, all you need to do is scramble down there♔ and collect i﷽t.
Metal Flower Three - MARK 1 (C)
Location: North of Northern Embrace Gate
Come out of the gate and keep following the path until you see the wrecked hut. Stop here and then head left past the housওe, past the side with the chimney stack, and keep heading in that direction.
When you come to the edge of the rocks, stop and look down. You will see another hut on the ground bel♛ow you. The Met💜al Flower is on a small ridge to the left of the hut.
Metal Flower Four - MARK 2 (D)
Location: East of Devil's Thirst Bandit Camp/Settlement
Fast travel to the fire closest to the Metal Flower. It should take you near to the area where part of the "Revenge of the Nora" quest takes p༒lace. When you are at the dig site you need to head across it to reach the Flower.
The Metal Flower is on the other side of♏ this area, just follow your marker on the map or the indicator if you have tagged it.
Metal Flower Five - MARK 1 (E)
Location: Southwest of Devil's Grief
Fast travel to th🍬e fire closest to the marked Metal Flower point on the map. From here, look around until you see this:
Hea🅷d towards this ruined building and then keep running past it. Keep heading straight until you c෴ome to a clearing and see this:
Your Metaꦯl Flower is off to th🤪e left, surrounded by the distinct formation of flowers.
Metal Flower Six - MARK 1 (F)
Location: In the bunker whe🍬re you find the Shield Weaver Armor.
This one is undergro💃und, near the entrance to the bunker that holds the Shield Weaver armor. To get this armor you need to collect Power Cells.
The Metal Flower is just before the entrance to the Bunker. Whilst in 💟the water you will see💙 this:
The F🌞lower is off to your left. It's easy to spot.
Metal Flower Seven - MARK 1 (G)
Location: Southeast of Devil's Grief
Fast travel to the fire ꦺclosest to the Metal Flower point on the map.
When you 🌳have traveled here, look around until you see this structure:
There will be machines patrolling in front of it, so it's a good idea to have some arrows to be able to take them down. H❀ardpoint arrows are some of the best in the game for quick reload speeds and heavy damage.
Once you've dealt with them, head through the small doorway in this structure and when you come out the other side, y🍷ou should see a body of water. You may run into a corrupted Watcher and Two Cor🍨rupted Sawtooths. Take these out then look for this opening:
Head th🧜rough here and you should come to a clearing. This may have an🅷other Corrupted Sawtooth in it so be ready to fight.
The Metal Flower will be to your ♔right as you enter the area.
Metal Flower Eight - MARK 1 (H)
Location: South of the Gravehoard
Fast travel to the fire closest to the Metal Flower⛄ point on your map. Conveniently, this is actually right next to the Metal Flower. When you arrive at the fire, look around you untiꦚl you are looking down the valley.
The Metal Flower will be almost direc🌺tly in front of you.
Metal Flower Nine - MARK 1 (I)
Location: South of Hunter's Gathering
Fast travel to Hunter's Gathering. The Metal Flower is directly south of the se🎐ttlement, so head out of it and downwards. It's useful to mark the Metal Flower location on your map with a waypoint, this way it's easier to figure out where you need to go.
Head down past the herd of Broadheads until you reach the large road. There should be a rope going above the road from one side to ꦜthe next. The Metal 🍬Flower is hidden among a group of trees on the side of the road closest to Hunter's Gathering.
Metal Flower Ten - MARK 1 (J)
Location: Southeast of Two Teeth Bandit Camp
Travel to the fire that is closest to the Metal Flower location. It should be the 𒉰one that's sat at the bottom of the mountain almost directly north of the Flower's location.
When you are at the fire, mark the Metal Flower location with a waypoint and follow the marker down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, you should see a few machines prowling around on thꦉe other side of a small bridge — this is where you need to stop.
Look around you until you see a ဣwaterfall coming out of the rocks a🃏nd a small wooden bridge.
Go across this wooden bridge and directly on your right there will be a small opening. Head around here and this is where you will find the final 🐠Metal Flower for Set 1.
Metal Flower Set 2
Metal Flower - MARK II (A)
Location: North of Dawn's Sentinel
Fast travel to the fire at Dawn's Sentinel, then place a waypoint on the Metal Flower marker on your map. This reduces the chance of yo♑u getting lost.
Head through the gate and to your right, there will be a large ope🍒ning in the rocks🌜.
Head t🌳hrough this and follow the path around until you come to a large opening that has a few♐ Scrappers in it.
When you have de⛦alt with the machines, the Flower is tucked away in the upper left-hanಞd corner of the clearing.
Metal Flower - MARK II (B)
Location: Southeast of Dawn's Sentinel
Fast travel to the fire at Dawn's Sentinel then heads towards the marked location on your map. When you get close to it, you should see a few Snapmaws hanging ꦉaround what looks like a ruined ship or plane from the Old Ones on a small Island.
The Metal Flower is at the center of this.
Metal Flower - MARK II (C)
Location: Southwest of the Sun-Steps Tallneck
Head to the Fast Travel fire that i🍬s almost directly north of the marked Metal Flower location on the map.
From here look around until you see this:
Carefully ma♔ke your way down the cliff and follow the river along the bank on the right side.
Eventually, you ꦜwill come to an opening in the rocks andꦐ the Metal Flower will be on your right.
Metal Flower - MARK II ( D )
Location: Northwest Of Sunfall
Head to the fast travel point clo🐲sest to the Metal Flower on the map. From here, head around the base of the cliffs until you reach this point:
Here, you shou🌠ld be able to see a formation of rocks on a slope that look like this:
Now you have two options here; you can run up the steep slope to the left of this form🅠ation to get to the climb trail, or you can jump along the rocks and use them as stepping stones to jump like a Lemur. The choice is yours.
Either way, wඣhen you reach the top you will see the climb trail:
Follow this up and the Metal Flower is at the top. There are Gl꧟inthawks around here so be ready to fight them off to get your Flower.
Metal Flower - MARK II (E)
Location: Northeast of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sun-Steps Tallneck
Fast travel to the fire nearest to the marked point. This should be directly opposite the Mar♒ked Flower location and the location of a Thunderjaw site.
Make🐓 sure you have a lot of health and ammunition before heading for the flower, this one is going to get messy. When you arrive at the fire, look📖 around you until you see this ridge:
Head over and across the ridge, on the other side, is the Thunderjaw site. Unless you are super stealthy, you're going to have to fight the machines here and t🦋ake them down to get the Metal Flower.
The Flower is in the center of this area.
Metal Flower - MARK II (F)
Location: South of Pitchcliff
Hea𒐪d to the🤡 Fast Travel fire closest to the marked point and it should be the one at the bottom of the rocks. When you are at the fire, look around until you see this opening in the rocks:
Heaಞd through here and keep foꦅllowing the path until you see this on your right:
Go up here and follow the path to your left. On your right there will be a small 🐓ramp leading up to the higher half of the rock — go up this.🍸 The Metal Flower will be on your right further along the rocks.
Metal Flower - MARK II (G)
Location: North of Pitchcliff
Head north from the nearest Fast Travel fire and keep an eye ou🎐t for this:
When you see the rope, pass under it and cross over the small st🃏ream. After you have passed over the stream, you should see an opening in the rocks to your right.
At the start of this openi൩ng, the Metal Flower is on a 🦋small ledge to the left.
Metal Flower - MARK II (H)
Location: Northwest of Blazon Arch
Fast travel to the fire south of the marked Metal Flower point on❀ the map. From here, lo꧑ok around until you see this:
Head in🧜to this canyon and keep following the path until you reach the area wꦏith the trees.
Stop here and you shoꦜuld see the Metal Flower on your left.
Metal Flower - MARK II ( I )
Location: South of Dimmed Bones
Travel to the fire closest to the Dimmed Bones ruin (it ꧅should be the one at the base of the ramps leading up to the ruin). When you are here, head up the ramps to get to the r⛎uin.
When you are at the top and are facing the r🐬uin — stop. Turn to your right and keep headin♊g in that direction past the ruined building.
Keep heading in that direction until you see a Rapp💝el point appear on the side of the cliff.
The Metal Flowe🔜r is to the right of th♏is and easy to spot.
Metal Flower - MARK II (J)
Location: Southwest of Blazon Arch
This one is a little differe▨nt from the others, you need to head for the Snapmaw site her﷽e:
When you are here, mark the Metal Flower location on your map ಞas a waypoint with X. You need to deal with the Snapmaws and once you have, look around until you see this:
Head this way to that little ledge on the left that slightly sticks out int🧔o the water. This is where the Metal Flower is.
Metal Flower Set 3
Metal Flower - MARK III (A)
Location: Northwest of168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Spurflints Hunting Ground
Fast travel to the fire westಞ of the marked Metal Flower location on the map. When you are here, look around until you see this:
From here, follow the path until you c🤪ome to the point♒ where it splits and you see a group of Longlegs in the distance.
The Metal Flower ℱwill be up that slight slope on your r🍃ight.
Metal Flower - MARK III (B)
Location: North of Spurflints Hunting Grounds
Head to the fire that is directly sou𓄧th of the marked Metal Flower location. From here, just head north from this point and you will come across the Metal Flower onꦫ your left.
It will be near the edge of the rocks and 💦near some Glinthawks.
Metal Flower - MARK III (C)
Location: North of Two-Teeth Bandit Camp/Settlement
Travel to the 🍷fire on the right of the Bandit Camp settlement. This fire is at the base of the Mountain almost directly below the point marked on the map for the Metal Flower.
Head up the path on the Mountain towards the🐈 Sawtooth site. When you're here, deal with the Sawtooth and then look around until you see a rid༺ge that looks like this:
The Met𓂃al Flower is on top of the ridge, all you need to do is climb up there and get it.
Metal Flower - MARK III (D)
Location: Northwest of Cauldron XI
Travel to the fire that is directly north oꦚf the Cauldron. From here, look around until you see this:
Go into the ꦓexcavation site and if needed, take out the enemies. When you have done this, head 💦back to the entrance and look into the site.
From here, head through the site and to the right until you see the exit🌌 that looks like this:
Head out of this exit and follow the path until it brings you t♏o a body of water. When you are facing the water, look to your left.
The Metal Flowerඣ will be ju🍨st past the large tree.
Metal Flower - MARK III (E)
Location: West of Meridian Village
Travel to the fire that is almost directly north of the marked Metal Flower locatioﷺn on the map. From here, look around until you see a very tall rock formatio🧸n.
Search around the rock unti�𒆙�l you find the start of the climbing trail.
All you need to do is follow the trail up. When you are up there, you will see a Merchant and you will need to follow the path carefully around to th🌺e left of them. If yo🌠u follow this path, you will see the Metal Flower directly in front of you after a few steps.
Metal Flower - MARK III (F)
Location: Northwest of Spearshafts Tallneck
Fast travel to the fire nearest the marked Metal Flower location and this will brin🐓g you out on top of the rock where the Flower is. There will be a bunch of Glinthawks here so get ready to fight as soon as you arrive.
When you've dealt with them, stand at the fire and look across from you until you see th🐼is:
Follow th꧒e slight path to your right and stop at the edge of t𝕴he rocks then look to your left.
The Metal Flower will be tucked behind a s✱maller rock formation but you should be able to see it.
Metal Flower - MARK III (G)
Location: West of Meridian
Fast travel to the fire at Evening's Sign. From here, head across the bridge then 𒐪follow the path to your right.
K🔜eep following the path and the Metal Flower will be 🌞on your left.
Metal Flower - MARK III (H)
Location: Northwest of Copper Deeps Tallneck
Head to the Fast Travel fire that is slightly northeast of the marked Metal Flower loca🍰tion on the map.
From here, h♎ead down towards the river bank on the opposite side of you. You need to head towards the islands that the Tallneck is walking around. Be warned, there are a lot of 𝕴Snapmaws down here so either tread carefully or be ready to fight.
When you are down by the Islands, head ar♐ound the edges until you come to the bigger one that has a S🥀napmaw on top of it.
The Met𝄹al Flow𝔉er should be on the bank in front of you when you get to this area.
Metal Flower - MARK III (I)
Location: East of Royal Maizelands
Fast travel to the fire next to the marked Metal Flower point on your map. This will take you to the base of a very tall rock. You will need to scaꩵle this rock to get to the Metal Flower.
From the fire,🥃 head around the rock until you s🔯ee the start of the climb trail:
Use this trail to get to the top of the rock — you will need to fight the Glinthawks when you ar🐼e up here or they'll knock you off. When you've dealt with them, look around until you see a rope leading to another piece of rock that is slightly further away from the main one.
The Metal Flower is on here.
Metal Flower - MARK III (J)
Location: East of Lone Light
Head to the Fast Travel fire just outside of the settlement and then head down until you see the bridge that goes 🧔across the River.
Head over the bridge and when you are on the otheꦫr side, turn back aroun🌜d on yourself and go to the archway underneath the bridge.
The Metal Flower will be there.
