Once you finish all the one-time content in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Honkai: Star Rail, most of your gameplay will involve different domains that reset daily or weekly. One type of these domains is known as the Echo of Wars, and they're scattered on different planets. You can only claim rewards from these domains three times every week.
The Destruction's Beginning Echo of War contains an enemy called the Doomsday Beast. You'll have to get past two phases and defeat the boss before all your characters get knocked down if you want to claim the rewards.
How To Unlock Destruction's Beginning
When you first start playing Honkai: Star Rail, you'll play the story of the Herta Space Station. This will essentially be the tutorial mode where the game teaches you different mechanics in turn-based combat. In the end, you'll try to escape the station alongside March 7th, Dan Heng, and Himeko when your path gets blocked by the Doomsday Beast.
You'll use these three characters with the main character of your choice to fight this beast for the first time. Even during the first fight, you'll have to go through two phases. Once defeated, you'll board the Astral Express and continue your journey. Although, the Echo of War won't be unlocked at this point.
You still have to finish the story of Jarilo-VI and defeat Cocolia to unlock the Destruction's Beginning Echo of War. Once that is done, you'll see a new marker in the Supply Zone area of the Herta Space Station, and you can directly teleport to it. This is where you can fight the Doomsday Beast every week.
As your Equilibrium level raises, you'll unlock higher difficulties of this fight. This will raise the level of the beast you'll be fighting.
You won't see many new attacks with this increase in level, but the damage will increase monumentally.
Another thing that changes heavily with the boss gaining extra levels is their SPD. During the start, you'll be able to use your character abilities before the boss gets its first turn, but it'll usually always attack first on higher difficulties. This can change the rhythm of the battle comp⛄letely.
Doomsday Beast Attack Pattern
As soon as you start the battle, you'll have three areas that you can attack: its core, left arm (dark), and right arm (white). Once you deplete the health bar of all three of them, it'll enter a vulnerable state where you can constantly attack it until it reaches zero. Repeat this process two times to finish the battle.
Each part of the beast has specific attacks, and some of them can change when you enter the second phase. Here's everything the beast can do:
Attack Type |
Phase(s) |
Description |
Sweep Attack |
1 & 2 |
This attack is performed by the left arm where it sweeps the floor and damages all your party members. In the buffed state, this attack has a chance to trigger the Imprisoned effect on multiple teammates. You'll mostly see two members getting Imprisoned at a time during the first phase, but it can go up to three in the second one. Moreover, the chances of this effect to hit increase with the boss' level. |
Stomp Attack |
1 & 2 |
The right arm can only attack one member at a time, but it deals much higher damage. In the second phase, this will deal two instances of damage. This attack can trigger Entanglemen🔯t i♛n the buffed state on both phases. |
Buffing Arms |
1 & 2 |
This attack is performed by the core where it buffs one or both arms. In the first phase, it'll only buff one arm at a time. This means that the𝓰 first two attacks performed by the core will always be where it buffs the arms. On the other hand, it can buff both arms at the same time during the second phase. |
Walls Closing In |
1 |
This is a one-turn attack where the core chooses one of your party members at random and performs an attack that deals a lot of damage. This can also trigger the Imprisonment effect, and it's the most dangerous attack in the first phase. |
Ultimate Attack |
2 |
This attack is guaranteed to trigger when the boss recovers from the vulnerable state for the first time. The Doomsday Beast rises and shoots multiple lasers at all your team members. This deals a ton of damage and can also one-sho𒈔t your characters. This is a two-turn attack and the boss only charges up during the first turn. Although, it'll perform this attack even if you trigger a Weakness Break on the core during the charging phase. |
Imprisonment belongs to the Imaginary combat type, and it delays your characters' turn and reduces their SPD massively.
On the other hand, Entanglement delays your character turns but it also deals some Quantum DMG at the start of their next turn.
How To Defeat Doomsday Beast
Now that you know everything that the beast can throw at you during the fight, it's time to learn how to defeat it. To get started, it's most important to learn the Weaknesses of each part of the boss:
Enemy Type |
Weak To |
Left Arm |
Fire and Ice |
Core |
Physical and Fire |
Right Arm |
Fire and Wind |
It's clear that Fire is the best element you can bring to this fight. Himeko is a Fire character who can deal AoE damage and can be acquired from the Standard Banner. She's the best character that you can bring to this fight. It's recommended to focus on the arms before you start hitting the core.
If you have Silver Wolf in your account, you don't need to worry about Weaknesses since she can implant new ones.
When the boss is in the vulnerable state after defeating all three initial parts, it won't have any Weaknesses and you can't apply them using Silver Wolf either. Although, this is the perfect place to reach damages as high as one million even if you're F2P. It's also a good point to recharge your Skill Points for the second phase.
Here are a few tips that🌸 c🐲an help you with the fight:
- Healers are almost a necessity here. Since it's turn-based combat where all your characters are on the field, you're bound to take damage. Apart from healing, Natasha has a special ability that allows her to clear a debuff from your character when you use her Skill.
- It's important to trigger Weakness Break with the right character. Each combat type has a different effect on triggering Weakness Break, and you can deal more damage if you have a ton of Break Effect.
- Don't underestimate the Ultimate attack. If your characters are below 50 percent health, consume a Skill Point to heal them even if it makes the combat longer. It's quite frustrating to lose your DPS during the second phase when you're about to win.
Destruction's Beginning Rewards
As mentioned above, you can only claim rewards from the Echo of Wars three times every week cumulatively. This means that if you defeated Doomsday Beast three times a week, you won't be able to get the rewards from any Echo of War domain anymore. Here are all the rewards you can get from this domain:
- Destroyer's Final Road (Required to upgrade Traces past level seven)
- Five-star, four-star, and three-star pieces of the Musketeer of Wild Wheat and Thief of Shooting Star Relic sets
- Lucent Afterglow (used in Forgotten Halls shop)
- Low chance of getting the Light Cones from the Forgotten Hall shop
The number and rarities of these rewards change based on the difficulty level you're fighting.
If you think you'll be able to upgrade your Equilibrium level by the end of a certain week, it's recommended to save your Echo of Wars till then.
This will allow you to get better rewards, which will be more v🔴aluable for your🌠 Trailblaze Power.
