Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was designed as the ambitious final chapter to the Metal Gear Solid story that Kojima had fostered for the last two decades of his career. Of course, this meant that he went as far as he could go with the project, resulting in i✱t being one of the longest games he's ever created.
While Guns of the Patriots should take you just under twenty hours to complete, you shouldn't expect to be holding your controller the en꧂tire time, as the amount of exposition and cutscenes in the game is record-breaking. There is a lot of talking throughout this "final" journey, but the gameplay is still top-notch and endlessly satisfying.
