Probably the film he's most well known for is the 2011 thriller Drive with Ryan Gosling as a stuntman getaway driver. It's also no coincidence that Kojima sought the talents of Mads Mikkelsen and Elle Fanning for Death Stranding and DS2: On the Beach.

Mads starred in the first two Pusher movies directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, and Elle Fanning played the lead role of Jesse in Refn's 2016 horror film The Neon Demon.

Guillermo Del Toro
