Futuristic robotics, bodily mechanical augmentations, a dose of rock n' roll, and a colorfully animated flair are the main ingredients of the latest concoction cooked up by developer Tango Gameworks. Stylistically, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hi-Fi Rush speaks to the dreamers𓃲 in all of us. But, of course, nasty corporate overreach has to ruin everything.

Chai lives life on the edge and is roped into a war with Vandelay, a sinister company that aims to control the minds of everyday folks like you and me. But this game is anything but painfully melodramatic. It's a real hoot with laughs, wit, cheeky brilliance, and plenty of charm to keep you grinning from ear to ear while 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:listening to plenty of killer licen🍸sed tra𓆉cks to boot.

10 A Future Rock Star 🃏

Chai posing like a rock star

Chai has big, bold dreams. As the premise for the game unfolds, we learn that Chai is looking to replace♒ his limp arm with a Vandelay robotic prosthetic. When checking in at the front desk, he speaks to an emotionally bankrupt robot named Lu-C1lle who is unfazed by Chai’s boyish charm.

If a DMV worker who’s soured by the daily grind and exudes irritation through every syllable and lack of inflection is a cliché, then Lu-C1lle is it. She just works at Vandelay instead of the DMV. When she asks Chai about his profession, he responds with the wide-eyed zeal of Bill and Ted stating🌌 that he’s a rock star, or will be. That’s before he wields an air guitar and riffs like he’s Slash.

9 ꦏ ꦫ A Screensaver? Or Highly Intelligent AI?

Chai pointing at a screensaver thinking it's an AI

There’s already been one comparison to the bodacious dꦏuet of cinematic yesteryear: Bill and Ted. But let’s keep the parallels rolling. Like these comedy icons, Chai isn’t exactly the brightest bulb in the pack. He often speaks before thinking or without prior knowledge, which only adds to his humorous naïveté.

After successfully defeating Rekka, his ally, Peppermint, joins him in the control room to locate Vandelay’s AI program. Chai takes one look at the ꦚspatial design rotating on a computer screen and exclaims, “whoa, this is crazy! Looks like we found our AI!” His enthusiasm is quickly squashed when Peppermint informs him that what he is se🐎eing is a screensaver.

8 Mute, The Bane Of Video ♑Conference Callꦏs

Mimosa and Zanzo on a conference call

We’ve all been there, whether it’s over in-game chat or on a video conference call. Someone inevitably forgets they&rsqꦇuo;re muted and talks into the void. On a vi🔯deo call, we see their lips moving but hear nothing through the speakers as they do their best mime impression.

When Chai inadvertently summons the entire leadership of Vandelay for a conference call, 168澳洲幸运5♌开奖网:the wacky and self-important💦 researcher, Zanzo, at the head of R&D is boisterously speaking during the conversation without making a sound. Mimosa finally chimes in with, “Zanzo, I think yoꦓu’re muted, honey.”

7 🐽 Field Testing Mind Control

Chai under mind control

Peppermint enlists Chai in a much larger fight against Vandelay than he’s in𓃲itially ready for. At the start, he simply wanted to avoid being scrapped as a defect. But Peppermint knows Vandelay intends to use a form of mind control on their patients who use their robotic augmentations. Chai casually dismisses her ramblings – that is, until she demonstrates.

While Chai cleans the smudges on his metallic arm, Peppermint activates the program with her inputs. Like a🐼 zombie, Chai stands at attention, saying, “you were right all this time, and I’m a stubborn loser. Also, Peppermint is way cooler than me.” D♒on’t you wish you could do that to your worst enemies?

6 ✅ The Expressive Robot ও

CNMN With Marker drawing on his face

Once Macaron joins the fight, reluctantly, so does his robot pal CNMN. He’s known for his habit of verbalizing brutal honesty. When 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the newfound allies all greet each other, CNMN states, “Sir Macaron said expreꩲssions make me less off-putting𒐪.”

Being the self-aware robot he now is, thanks to Macaꦺron, CNMN draws facial expressions on his robot exterior with a marker. It’s quirky and often hilarious. From this point f🅷orward, you will notice that he’s constantly switching expressions between scenes.

5 🦹 The Stubbed Toe

Chai stubbing his toe on vacuum robot

There’s nothing that ignites the makings of a bad day quite like jamming your toe on a piece of furniture. In terms ඣof the most jarring pains to rocket through your body, it ranks up there with others in the same category, such as stepping on a Lego, hitting your funny bone, or suffering an intense Charley horse.

Chai, being the hapless wonder that he is, manages to burst his illusion of coolness during a badass exit from a Vandelay holding cell by stubbing his toe on a robot that is vacuuming the floors of the hall. Sometimes, life knockဣs you down a peg.

4 ꦿ "Riding" The L👍ift

Chai cradeled in fear after the LIFT lands

Peppermint always manages to keep Chai on his toes. In one such moment, she blasts a tunnel ceiling while Chai is aboard a lift and tells him to hang on for dear life. Realizing he's about to pummel into the debris, he scrambles, and the lift goes tumbling over the debris down the tunnel.

The scene is set for maximum fun as we witness two robots casually waiting for the lift to arrive like they're at a bus stop. One is holding his lunch box in one arm. After they acknowledge that the lift is running late, Chai goes tumbling past them, screaming. As with most of Hi-Fi Rush, Chai's pain is our laughter.

3 Dropping In O𝓀n K🅰orsica

Chai falling on Korsica

Korsica eventually becomes an ally in the fight against Vandelay. Before that, however, she is an obstacle for Chai, much like Rekka and Zanzo. Chai spots her through a vent covering, working at her computer. Giving himself a boost amid his espionage antics and having a big, stupid grin on his face, Chai whispers to himself, "I'm like a chameleon... waiting to strike."

Given what we know about Chai, he just scripted the next event, which is the vent covering giving out, sending the bumbling fool crashing down on top of Korsica. When🐈 she gathers her wits about her, she finds Chai with 808 gripping his face in terror.

2 ﷽ Left Shark🧸

Chai in the Left Shark costume on Mimosa's stage

Do you remember Left Shark? You know, the infamous dancer that supported Katy Perry's Super Bowl performance in 2015 dressed like a shark, just like his Right Shark comrade. Of course, no one ever talked about Right Shark. Left Shark made waves for seemingly doing his "own thing" on stage instead of following Right Shark's strict choreography.

There's a fun reference to Left Shark when the robots setting the stage for Mimosa's show can't locate Left Shark. Chai gets the brilliant idea to don the Left Shark suit himself. It looks just like the real deal except for the fact it's a hammerhead. Still, it's a hilarious bit watching Chai run around in this obnoxious costume.

1 ꧟ Lunch Break ⛦

Chai in the middle of the robot cafeteria

Launching oneself from a canon is never a good idea - unless you're a professional, of course. However, Chai seems to think this is the best plan to get where he needs to go, while all of his comrades behind the scenes seem to disagree.

When a blimp gets in his way, he ends up crash-landing in the robot cafeteria. That's right; apparently, robots eat lunch, too. Stunned by the sudden drop-in, they glance up at the screen to see Bigfoot-style footage of Chai splashed across it with a "Wanted" tagline. All eyes are on Chai in the lunchroom as he utters, "hope no one noticed."
