One dataminer has collated all ten Illuminate types into one Reddit post, breaking down what we can expect when they finally join the Galactic War.

Last week, a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Helldivers 2 leaker shared our first in-game look at the ♛long-awaited Illuminate, squid-like aliens with technology far outclassing Super Earth's. There have been a lot of leaks regarding this alien civilisation since launch, so one leaker has put together a comprehensive list of every enemy type we know about thus far.

Every Illuminate Type We Know About In Helldivers 2

The first is the Observer, returning from the first Helldivers game. These are small scout units that alert other Illuminate to a player's presence—if you get caught, a swarm of Squ'ith will teleport to your location.

In the original game, the Observers were invisibleꦺ until spotted.

We then have Ghouls, mutated enemies who attack you with their claws. Early leaks show them as giant hulking bruisers, but more receꦫn🍌t datamined models see them at a similar size to the infantry.

Adept (or Mage) is a hovering Illuminate who might have similar mind control abilities to those in the original game, but not much is known about them yet. The Outcast are hooded Illuminate who have a gauntlet that fires laser beams—they look very similar to the Hunters in the first Helldivers. We then have the Summoner, who leakers believe will literally summon other Illuminate enemies like the Ghoul.

Council Members are robed Illuminate who ride floating chairs—in the original, they could teleport, use mind control, and unleash devastating area-of-effect attacks. One of the tougher Illuminate enemies is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the "Guy", no doubt a placeholder title. These are heavily armoured Illuminate elites who use staffs (known as "LightSpear") that double as a melee and ranged weapon. There's even a second tier that wields a two-handed axe.

Of course, for such an advanced civilisation, the Illuminate have a few vehicles up their tentacles too. We can expect to see two variants of what's called the Tripod, giant three-legged constructs that look ripped right out of War of the Worlds (like the Striders from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Half-Life 2). And naturally, the Illuminate have tanks. Dubbed Obelisks, these aren't any old ordinary tanks, they can teleport and have projected shields to keep you at a distance. No model has leaked yet, but the name has appeared in the files.

That's a lot of Illuminate to contend with, but we aren't sure when they'll arrive. Regardless, once they do, they'll be a formidable foe that makes fighting the Automaton feel like a peaceful holiday trip to the tropical corner of the Milky Way.
