If you want to boost your own survivability and your weapon's cap🎃ability for damage, get some fellow Helldivers to lend you a hand on the battlefield.

Team Reloading, Explained

Certain support weapons – the Autocannon, Railgun, and Spear – are special in how they work. They come with their own particular ammo backpack, and you'll need both the gun and its backpack to be able to reload them.

They can be reloaded by a single player, but the process for it is slow and leaves you vulnerable to enemies, since you have to stop moving while you do it. The solution to this is team-based reloading: you or your fellow Helldivers can carry additional ammo backpacks, and then aid with reloading the weapon.

Up to four players can independently carry an ammo backpack, regardless of whether they have the weapo💜n or not.

Helping someone reload increases the reload speed dramatically, allows them to move while being reloaded, and also allows multiple shots to be fired until the person doing the relꦆoading runs out of ammo.

To aid with a reload, make sure you're carrying the right ammo backpack, then approach the player while their support weapon is empty, and you'll get the option to interact with them. As long as you stay within a few steps of the person and continue to press the interaction, the other player will be able to continuously fire their Autocannon, Recoilless Rifle, or Spear.

You can quickly kill large targets like Bile Titans by having four players carry the same Support Weapon, and alternating between two people firing and two people reloading.

The Recoilless Rifle is the first team weapon you can unlock, and you can purchase its Stratagem at level five. This team weapon is similar to a rocket launcher, and it's effective against any type of vehicle.

You can normally only fire one shot at once with it, but the Recoilless Rifle allows you to move while aiming, and can either be fired without zoom or while zoomed in for better accuracy.

The Recoilless Rifle also offers better AOE damage compared to the Autocannon and the Spear, making it useful for killing large groups of enemies as well as aiming at large, single targets.

A Recoilless Rifle can kill a Charger in two to three shots if you aim at its face while it's charging, or aim for its vulnerable backside.

The is the second team weapon you can unlock, and you can purchase its Stratagem at level ten. It works like a cross between the grenade Launcher and the Railgun, and it's designed to go against light vehicles, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:such as Scout Striders.

The Autocannon can be swapped between Semi-Automatic and Automatic firing modes by holding Reload down while having it in hand. This also applies to most other weapons.

The is the third available team weapon, and you'll be able to purchase it once you reach level 20. Fitting with it being one of the final Stratagems you can unlock, the Spear is the most powerful Support Weapon in the game, but it has its drawbacks.

Spears automatically lock onto targets, but they can only lock onto targets of a certain size. This includes:

  • Chargers.
  • Bile Titans.
  • Automaton Fabricators
  • Drop Ships
  • Hulks.
  • And Tanks.

In return for this massive caveat, the Spear boasts insanely high damage, and has ammunition that tracks down its target. It can be used to one-shot Chargers and Hulks, especially when aimed at their vulnerable spots.

Spears are also capable of breaking through a Bile Titan's armor in one hit, though it may not always kill them in one-shot unless it's aimed directly at its head.

Using a Spear can make killing Automaton Fabricators in higher difficulties or Heavy Outposts easier, as you can lock on and fire at the fabricator from relative safety.
