How To Encounter Terminid Enemies

View of the Galaxy Map centered on the planet Erata Prime in a Terminid Controlled Zone in Helldivers 2.

Terminids occupy the right side of the galaxy, in the gold-colored zones east of Super Earth, and their influence covers a number of planets within the five zones they hold.

Terminid enemies can be found in any of the missions and campaigns within their zones, but the difficulty you choose will determine how many enemies you fight, and the Terminid types you'll find in them.

are the smallest Terminids you'll encounter𒁏, and they're pretty much the drones of the Terminid army. 🐈

You'll be encountering these pests more often than any other Terminid, usually around points of interest and as the first wave of a Bug Breach, and hordes of them accompany any big Terminid.

Be wary of Scavenger patrols, as they can call for back-up and start a Bug Breach in the immediate area.

Unlike the bigger Terminids, Scavengers aren't very durable. They've got light armor, and you can kill them in a few shots with pretty much any weapon in the game, or with two to three melee hits if they get too close.

are another of the most common Terminids you'll be coming across, and like their name suggests, they're some of the main warriors sent out from Terminid hives.

At triple the size of a Scavenger, Warriors are more powerful but move slower than them, and have thicker armor on their faces and backs.

Aim for their stomachs and lower face with weapons such as the Liberator assault rifle, Punisher shotgun, or the Redeemer pistol to hit through their armor and kill them quickly.

You can also use weapons like the Breaker shotgun or the Grenade Launcher to hit through and burst their frontal armor in just a few shots.

Though they don't always kill in one hit, you can still use grenades against Warriors in a pinch, especially if there are other Terminids aro🍒und.

They'll do serious damage to them, and are capable of knocking off a Warrior's limbs, making them more vulnerable a🦩nd their movement mo💦re sluggish.

Bigger than the Scavengers, but smaller than the Warriors, are fast and furious enemies that often use ambush tactics on you and your fellow Helldivers.

Hunters attack twice as fast as Scavengers and Warriors both, and can hit you multiple times in a row with both their claws and the tentacle-like appendages inside their mouths.

Hunters are capable of dodging incoming shots by jumping to either side, and they'll sometimes sneak up behind you with their dodge.

If you're at a distance, you can use long-range weapons like the Anti-Material Rifle to single out and kill Hunters before they get too close to you, but if they're already up close, your best weapon against them is shotguns and explosives.

Shotguns like the Breaker can kill them in a single hit, and the spread of the shots can help you hit the Hunter even if it's moving and give you a chance to hit them directly.

are an especially dangerous and unique type of Terminid, capable of becoming almost completely invisible. If they're under their invisibility, they'll appear as large, pale-white or gray figures with no features among other Terminids.

The Eagle Smoke Strike, Orbital Smoke Strike, and exploding spore pods can all help reveal where a Stalker is when fighting them.

Stalkers themselves aren't much more durable than a regular Warrior, but they do far more damage, and inflict some of the highest knockback out of all the Terminids.

A single swipe from a Stalker can throw you several feet away, and can kill you just as quickly with impact damage, so you'll want to stick to long-range weaponry when dealing with them, like the Liberator assault rifle, or the Anti-Material Rifle.

Sentries like Guard Dog "Rover" and the Gatling Sentry also provide excellent back-up against Stalkers and can automatically lock onto them despite their invisibility.

Stalkers originate from their own specific Stalker Nests, and you can locate them by looking for dark, crater-like formations on the map that are near other bug nests, but aren't marked with a red danger zone.

are some of the most heavily armored Terminids, and any large Terminid group will usually have at least one Brood Commander.

These Terminids will frequently call for back-up like Scavenger patrols tend to do, and bring Bug Breaches with them.

While extremely slow, the Brood Commanders make up for this by having armor that protects their front half, and their only vulnerable spots are their stomachs, rear ends, and the bottom of their face.

Explosive weapons like the Grenade Launcher, or weapons with stronger penetration like the Anti-Material Rifle can take them out in a few shots, but an Orbital Strike can be just as effective, since they tend to bring other Terminid with them.

If they take too much damage from the front, Brood Commanders will hunker down and stop attacking, giving you or a teammate the opportunity to hit them from behind.

Brood Commanders are also incredibly susceptible to incendiary weapons like the Flamethrower, and can't move fast enough to get out of the fire.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Chargers areꦅ massive, tank-like Terminids and, like their name suggests, they love to charge you down and run you over.

Despite their size, are fast and can turn quickly as long as they haven't built up to their maximum speed. They've got a heavily armored face, but their entire thorax is a vulnerable area made up of a large, orange-ish sack.

Weapons like the Autocannon and Anti-Material Rifle can penetrate through their frontal armor, but standing still for direct shots can easily get you run over.

For those playing alone, you can use the prone position to get shots off on them. When they charge you, wait a moment then dive to either side, and you'll have a few seconds to shoot them before they turn around.

If you're running with a team, one of you can take the Charger's aggro while the others follow behind and attack the sack on their thorax.

You can briefly stun Chargers by luring them away and tricking them into run into rocks and buildings, or by using the Orbital EMS Strike.

If you're having trouble getting through the Charger's armor, or getting enough time to actually do damage to them before they charge, heavy ordinance is always an option.

Stratagems like the Orbital Laser can lock onto a Charger and damage it until it dies, and sentries like the Gatling Sentry or Rocket Sentry can handle a Charger while you avoid it.

are nasty, not-so-armored Terminids that carry a massive sack on their abdomens filled with acidic liquid, and attack at long range.

The Bile Spewer's most vulnerable spots are the sack and the front of its head, but aiming at the sack is a more surefire way to damage them.

Light weapons deal reduced damage to the Bile Spewer's sack, so use explosives like grenades to blow up its underside, or the Grenade Launcher to hit its sack directly.

Be careful not to burst a Bile Spewer's sack next to you or your teammates, or you'll end up damaged by an explosion of acid.

Mines are also effective against Bile Spewers, as 🌺you can throw it out a💫head of you and let the Bile Spewers walk into all the mines.

are the biggest and baddest of all the Terminids, and tower over even the Chargers. Like the Bile Spewers, their primary attack is vomiting acid everywhere, but they're much more durable, and much faster.

When facing a Bile Titan, your best strategy is to stay far away from it, and hit it with the heaviest weapons you have access to, such as Autocannons, Railguns, and Grenade Launchers.

Make sure any sentries you're placing down to fight it are a far distance away as well, since they can be destroyed almost instantly by a Bile Titan.

Due to their size, you can use the environment to your advantage when facing Bile Titans. It can get trapped on large rocks and walls, or need to navigate around them, which can give you time to reload or aim for the vulnerable spots on its underside.

You can also use a bait strategy like with Chargers, and let the Bile Titan chase after you or one of your teammates while the rest of you attack it from behind with long-range weapons.

Use the environment for cover against the Bile Titan. Large rocks and even parts of their nests can help stop their acid from hitting you if you dive behind them in time.

The Orbital Laser or Orbital Railgun are two of the best ordinances to use, as they'll lock onto the Bile Titan specifically, but even a well-placed Precision Strike can kill a Bile Titan in a single hit at lower difficulties.

Large-radius ordinance like the 120MM HE Barrage or the 380MM HE Barrage are also great against not only Bile Titans but all the Terminids that tend to accompany them since you'll usually find them in nests.
