168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Harvest Moon on the SNES helped pave the way for the future of farming sim genre. Being added to Nintendo Switch's SNES library makes it a great opportunity for those looking to get into the genre. While not as polished as later entries, there's still plenty of fun to be had in this game's straightforward gameplay.
After meeting all the townsfolk, you're free to spend your days as you see fit. Since the game fails to thoroughly explain mechanics like stamina, animals, and time, it helps to have some guidance. Here we have the best tips for all our first-time farmers.
Ship Items Before 5pm
Right by your farm's entrance, there is a shipping bin where you can sell items. Every day someone will come at 5pm to pick up any items left in the bin and give you money the following day. Any items placed in the bin after 5pm will never be collected.
Horses can function as portable shipping bins once you obtain one. However, horses are bugged in this game and only properly store items if you make contact with the horse.
You'll know if you properly stored an item if the animation plays where the horse bows its head and the pouch on its side grows.ಞ If this animation does not play, your item was wast♊ed.
Do Chores At Night
Once nighttime hits, time will freeze. The only way to advance to the next day is by going to sleep in your house. This cheat gives you all the time in the world to complete many tasks you weren't able to complete during the day.
However, there are still a few chores you won't be able to make up for at night. For instance, you can't go shopping, fishing and harvesting crops is pointless since you can't ship them, and almost every romance-able characters goes to sleep.
The only romance-able character you can speak with at night is Eve, who works at the bar. 🌜You might gravitate towards Eve because of her availability, but she is a difficult character to keep a good relationship🦂 with.
Since her affection for you steadily declines over time, you're better off trying to date someone else.
Use The Hot Springs
In the northern part of the mountain area, you will find a hot spring. Jumping into this hot spring will restore a small amount of stamina.
You will have to repeatedly jump in order to completely refill your stamina. Combining this method for stamina restoration alongside the infinite nighttime allows you to clear your entire plot of debris in just one night.
Stamina can also be restored by going to bed and eating food. The wild grapes found in the mountain area restore about ten points of stamina each.
You'll know if you're running low on stamina based on the actions of your character. If your farmer starts to wipe sweat from his forehead, stamina is low. If your farmer starts wobbling from side to side, stamina is fully depleted.
Upgrade Your House
Upgrading your house before the end of the year one summer wi𒈔ll rew🐬ard you with a clock. The clock will tell you the time anytime you press the pause button.
Failing to upgrade your house before fall makes it impossible to obtain the clock for that playthrough.
To upgrade your house you will need 5,000G and 250 wood. Earning wood can easily be done by enteri🍨ng the mountain area and choppingꦫ all the stumps.
Once you're out of tree stumps, leave the area and then return. This causes all the items within the mountain area to respawn, allowing you to keep collecting wood.
Go Fishing
Unlike most farming games, you don't receive a fishing rod in Harvest Moon. Instead, you have to head to the fisherman's pond in the mountain area to borrow a fishing rod from the fisherman.
Pressing the A button when the rod is wiggling will reel in a fish. After catching your first fish, throw it back in the pond. This will reward you with a Power Berry, which permanently increase stamina.
Fishing sell for 300G each, making them a great way to earn cash while waiting for your crops to grow. Bringing a fish to the harvest festival will reward you with another Power Berry.
Start Farming Immediately
You should begin plowing your fields and planting crops as soon as you obtain your first seeds for grass.
Seeds can be obtained from the Flower Shop, north from where you enter the town. Grass must be growing on your farm in order to purchase animals, as it's used to feed these livestock.
You can feed your animals by letting them outside where the fresh grass is 💟or by cutting it down a✱nd placing it in their trough.
Grass should be planted early and harvested constantly since it cannot be planted in the fall and crops do not grow during winter. Keeping your animals fed through winter is important since they are your only means of making cash.
There is no way to remove grass after it's planted. Think careful🦂ly about wheไre you want to plant grass.
Plowing your farm also has a chance of dropping a Power Berry. Two Power Berries can be obtained randomly while plowing the ground🐎.
Protect Your Livestock
Livestock can get sick if they are left outside in the snow or rain. Livestock can also be attacked by wild animals if they are left outside and one of your fences is broken.
Keeping your animals inside is always the best option. It's easier to feed them and chickens won't produce eggs if they're left outside.
If you still plan on keeping animals outside, there is a way to always prevent wild animals from attacking. Since wild animals only attack when there is a broken fence, removing all fencing makes it impossible for them to attack.
To make sure your animals are safe from the weather, check the forecast on the TV in your house every day and prepare𒁃 for incoming storms.
Prioritize Feeding Full-Grown Livestock
It can sound a bit cruel, but chicks and calves don't suffer negative side effects if they are not fed.
Young animals are immune to sickness and can't produce milk or eggs anyway. If you're running out on fodder, aim to feed your matured animals instead.
When animals are sick, they stop producing eggs or milk and will need medicine from the livestock dealer. Be sure to feed animals every day and place fodder in the troughs.
You can also purchase additional fodder from the Animal Shop. The shop is located all the way south from where you enter the town — it's the first store on the right.
If you miss a feeding for your animals, they can get sick and eventually die.
