The ever menacing final boss. Most games spend a lot of their storyline building suspense for this final battle, a lot fall sho🦩rt of such great buildup. Then there are the rar♈e few who manage to deliver a fight worth all that effort. Battles that gamers through time have talked about as some of the defining moments in a franchise.
Some games, however, don't bother offering you any suspense or build up. They prefe♌r to keep their most difficult fight in the shadows or hidd💧en in plain sight.
10 💜 Legend Of The Street (Melissa) - N𝓰eed For Speed: Underground
One of the icons of the racing game scene, NFS: Underground was the introduction to street racing for many kids worldwide. Racking up style points to eventually unlock events, most players will make it to the tricked out rဣide of their dreams and stop racing. For those dedicated to being the best on the streets, they'll have to take down the entire Eastside crew.
Right after players have left them all in the rearview, Melissa will pull up in the Nissan 350z and challenge the racer. If you've racked up 2.5 million style points then you can take her on and become the new legend around town. Those that took her lightly quickly found out why she's the quiet queen of the racin꧅g scene.
9 ꦆ Ganon - Ocarina Of Time ꦉ
One of the most treasured games in history even pulls the wool over its🃏 own fanbase's eyes when it comes to the final boss. After making their way through Ganondorf's castle and defeating him, Link will attempt to walk away from the rubble of the fierce battle. Unfortunately, this battle isn't even close to being over.
Ganon, the evolved form of Ganondorf, will burst up from the debris wielding two massive swords to deal with. Not only will players have to contend with the beast but a wall of fire surrounds them, cutting Link off from his🏅 master sword for half the battle. The kicker is players will have to attack the vulnerable tail while avoiding the nightmare of a front enꦦd waiting for them.
8 Marluxia - Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memoꦏries
Introducing a whole new system of combat, Chain Of Memories took a le🎃ft turn from previous 🌼titles. Another sweep is when it comes to the final boss of the game, mostly because it's not the first time you're seeing or fighting with him.
Though he's a rea🦂l pain both times you fight him, Marluxia is especially frustrating in the final battle. Even in the card game format, players will most likely be outplayed in their first run through. Taking different forms each time you see him, Marluxia will change his playstyle for better or worse and force Sora to deal with every strike for the win.
7 Babylon Guardian - Sonic Riders 🌺
The reason the guardian comes as such a shock is because he's the only boss you actually face throughout the whole game. Wha🐈t players think of as the final race quickly becomes a race to hit the genie's bottle. It doesn't look like the best idea when you see the size of him, dodging his onslaught will one of the many variables to contend with in this🐲 race.
With size usually comes a lack of speed, this helps every racer on the course dodging his energy balls that get launched down the track.🐻 Some will remain as stationary traps and make the track a minefield to navigate. Luckily, once you've hit his pot three times he retreats into his container and allows you to rush to the finish line.
6 Omega Metroid 🐻- Metroid Fusion
Once Samus bat💎tles her way through to the SA-X, most players will assume that this is the final boss due to their previous encounters. The long, drawn-out battle will be relieving seeing as she couldn't even damage the beast beforehand. Going through multiple forms and heavy attacks, Samus eventually manages to fend off the defensive enemy.
Little does she know, the Omega Metroid is waiting for her🔯 down by her ships last location. 🥀As players make their victory march down to the bay, the fully evolved beast will force them to fight yet again. Make sure to dodge its massive claw strikes, it only takes a few to put Samus down. As slow as it seems the savage has a high defence with massive damage output.
5 Sidoh - Dragon Queꦜst 2
Sidoh or Malroth as he is frequently known is talked about throughout the game, yet the main objective is to defeat Hargon. A religious nut job who aims to summon the fearsome beast, player🔯s will spend most of the game tracking and hunting the priest and eventually slaying the foul creature.
In defeat, Hargon will sacrifice his life to the god fo destruction and in doing so🐲, summon the all-powerful bei🔯ng. As most will realize by his intimidating title, it's not something you want to mess with lightly and offers an especially difficult challenge when you try to walk away from Hargon's throne.
4 🌠 Dark Link - Zelda 2
Just when you 💧get to begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel the Thunderbird makes its appearance. Dodging fireballs and its massive body becomes a task in itself, eventually pulling off the feat Link walks🥃 away accomplished and ready to receive the Triforce and save the day.
Unfortunately, this isn't all that easy. Players should have expected a bait and switch from some of the previous games in the series. Your shadow or Dark Link will appear and challenge you, fighting him will take all the skill Lin🌱k's෴ built up and more. There's a cheap tactic to get through it a little easier but Where's the fun in that?
3 Mira & Towa - DBZ: Kakarot 🍸
More of a secret boss than a final one, Mira is only unlocked after you defeat all the villains after you complete the main game. It's not a must-do for the storyline but fans of everything DBZ will appreciate the content, especially if they're looking for a real ch🌳allenge.
You'll have to get through a level 100 Vegito and Gotenks to even reach Mira so players had better be on their A-game. Most consider this the hardest fight in the game, that trumps Kid Buu's epic finale to the main ga𒆙me. Strap in and prepare the spirit bombs because Mira's ready to dish out some serious damage to whoever he faces.
2 🍃 ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Moon Presence - Bloodborne
While Moon Presence will be the final boss of the game, players do have the option to opt-out. This wouldn't be the worst choice because you're in for a rough ride if decide to raise your weapon to her. Players will have to consumer 3 thirds of umbilical cords before t😼hey defeat the First Hunter to even get a shot at her.
Spouting off three-hit combo's and draining projectiles, Moon Presence becomes a pain෴ to deal with in the short term. The shockwave it can send out is the real stinger, reducing the HP to 1, players are forced to choose between recovery and hitting her at her weakest moment. If you win you have the honour of getti♎ng the special ending, good luck to all who dare.

Whene⛎ver an optional boss comes along most can't help themselves, Who doesn't want to test their skills against the best in the business? When it comes to Rodin, players will have to pay a hefty fee of 999,999 halo's to unlock his true form.
Rodin does tend to fight like the main games final boss with fast erratic movements that are hard to plan for. ౠThe difference between the tw😼o is the damage level and evasive ability that comes along with it. Rodin will take you for a stressful rodeo, not allowing any mistakes if you want a chance at taking him down.
