Halo is a super serious game about a super serious war against super serious aliens. Which makes it perfect for an extensive collection of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mega Bloks sets and figures. Lego ain’t interested, so this toy brand swooped in to produce countless toys based on the video game that has been running for several years now. I don’t own any myself, but fꦆ⛎rom a glance, they all look pretty faithful to the source material and, if I was still a child, I’d eat them right up.

Don’t eat plastic, kids.

What excites me more though, is the idea of a Halo Mega Bloks video game, one similar to how we’ve seen Travellers Tales adapt myriad different properties over the years. And once upon a time, such a game was in development for the Xbox 360 before being canned.

The Halo Mega Bloks Game Would Go So Hard In 2025

Halo Mega Bloks

It seems it would have been executed in a similar graphical style to Halo 4. Obviously, with the caveat that everyone and everything was made of plastic. Either way, it’s an interesting concept for a series that otherwise sticks primarily to a single genre. Instead of aiming down the sights of a rifle, you’d be beating plastic enemies to pulp while solving puzzles across its famil🐭iar slate oꩵf locations. With so many games to choose from, the potential is clear to see.

Several years ago saw for the title alongside b൲uilds that a passionate collective of fans were trying to make playable. Developed by now-defunct studio N-Space, the game was apparently going to include dedicated co-op modes, versus modes, and would seek to adapt existing stories from other games while also telling its own. It’s also likely there were multiple characters to cho🦹ose from and customise, too.

Halo 3 ODST The Rookie

At time, former 343 Industries😼 studio head Bonnie🤡 Ross had the following to say on the leak, which was codenamed ‘Haggar’ internally:

“Over the past few days, footage ༺has recently made the rounds of an exploratory Xbox 360 project we worked on several years ago, known as “Haggar.” Since then, we’ve received a lot of great feedback from the community. Haggar was something we prototyped with our friends at Mega Bloks that focused on the elements of action, exploration and user creativity found within the Halo universe. Haggar had a lot of fun ideas and invention behind it, but ultimately didn’t progress beyond the early prototyping levels that are shown in the recent video. This is just one example of several similar projects we have evaluated throughout the years – a process that we continue exploring on an ongoing basis.”

And People Clearly Want A Halo Game Like This

The appetite fo𝔍r Halo Mega Bloks in video game form is clearly present, and a few months ago, a playable build emerged online containing a full story mission, debug menu, and a pretty comprehensive idea of how the game would look and play. As expected, it’s riffing on the Lego titles pretty extensively𝓰 with collectible blocks (bloks?) found all over the place and simple, level-based environments filled with different puzzles and enemy encounters.

What I found most interesting right away is the presence of both an ammo counter and the number of grenades Master Chief is carrying at any given moment, meaning that꧂ combat is still a major part of the experience, even if Mega Bloks never make it the focus. You’ll take down elites, grunts, jackals, and have the ability to pick up their weapons once dropped too, while environments are populated by the same objects to take cover behind or interact with that Halo was kept as staples for years. But now,🌳 you’ll need to build loads of stuff.

One objective requires the player to construct a bridge over a chasm that is too wide to jump over, which takes you into a separate construction menu where you use pieces to build up structures that will then materialise in the game world. It is more detailed than the Lego titles, which require you to simply hold a button and watch an animation play out. Vehicles like the Warthog, Mongoose, Ghost, and several others are also present and can be outfitted with an assortment of upgrades, although it’s uncleaꦺr whether you’ll be required to build these too.

The build then transitions to a PvP mode of sorts which is very similar to classic Halo, while the mode appears to be a twist on Domination. Despite taking place in Mega Blok form, it is still unmistakably Halo. Maybe this failure to differentiate the experience from the main slew of titles is what saw the project cancelled in the first place, and Microsoft wasn’t willing to be quite so experimental with its flagship series. That was almost ten years ago, however, and now Halo is in a very different place, while we’ve seen games like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Lego Horizon Adventures prove that a serious, prestigious IP can have ꦑa light-hearte🧜d side and still prosper.

With Halo Infinite now in the rearview mirror and the future of Halo still quite foggy, a game like this which remixes and reinvents what it means to play Halo for a younger audience is not a bad thing, and for lifelong fans like me, would be an excuse to relive this st♎ory all over agaiಌn with a focus on having fun instead of finishing the fight.
