Very early in the first Halo game, Captain Keyes hands you a magnum. It’s 🐈a famously overpo🔥wered handgun, so you could probably beat the entire game with that alone. But that wouldn’t make for a very exciting first-person shooter experience.

𓄧The Halo series' iconic arm൩or has a deeper history than you might think.
Thankfully, you have the chance to pick up plenty of other brilliant weapons ಞduring the game. This continues with each subsequent game in the series as more and more unique weapons get added to the canon. Putting them all together would give you a pretty impressive arsenal.꧒ Yet, how many weapons would it contain in total? Here is the answer to that question.
There Are 136 Weapons In The Halo Series
The Halo series contains 136 weapons. This only accounts for the ones that feature in the FPS games. So, any weapons in the likes of Halo Wars, Spartan Assault, and the books don't count.
Plus, the number is only about weapons you can physically wield, meaning any enemy weapon you can't pick up hasn't been counted. Turrets you can detach and carry around have gone towards the total, though. Yet, fixed turrets on vehicles and things of that nature aren't included.
What also aren't included are the few targeting tools in the series. For example, the H-165 target locator from Halo Reach hasn't been counted since it isn't a weapon itself.
When it comes to weapon variants, most of them are included in the number. Therefore, all the different versions of the UNSC assault rifle count. The only weapon variants that haven't made the cut are those that are just different skins of the same weapon.
Halo Infinite has the most weapons in the series by far, as there are over 50. This is mainly because most of the weapons in 🐻the game have a variant version. So, there are two assault rifles, two battle rifles, two snipers, and so on.
There Are 64 UNSC Weapons In The Halo Series
The UNSC is the name of the main human military group in the Halo series. Therefore, the likes of Master Chief, Sergeant Johnson, and Captain Keyes serve in their ranks. The organiz꧂ation owns 64 of tℱhe weapons in the Halo series.
That doesn't mean they physically made them, though. They simply use the weapons in battle.
The total number leaves you to believe there is more variety than there actually is. This is because there are plenty of different versions of some weapons. For instance, there are six technically unique assault rifles in the series that aren't too different from one another.
What doesn't count is the 7 Wood golf club from Forge mode. While it's clearly a human weapon - the Covenant aren't known to play golf, after all - it's not exactly a tool that the UNSC go to war with.
