According to several leakers and dataminers, Valve is working on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Half-Life 3 (or HLX) again, ten years after it was cancelled. Whether it actually comes out is another question entirely, but the game has supposedly been in development for at least four years and will follow Gordon Freeman post-Episode 2 in flatscreen. It's exciting, especially in liue of comments from Valve that it isn't scared of the series anymore.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Wh𝄹at Would Half-Life🧔 3 Even Look Like Now?
We 🐬break down the cancelled Half-Life games and how Alyx's ending might change where Half-Life 3's story goes.
Since all of this came to light, the community has been digging deep into the files of various Source 2 games to find out as much as possible, and the Half-Life: Alyx NoVR team (who we interviewed recently — 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:check that out here) have di👍scovered a few interes🍷ting gameplay details over the last couple of days.
Reportedly, it will feature an upgradeable HEV suit, which sounds like an iteration of Alyx's upgradeable guns. Perhaps we can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:finally give Gordon a helmet. As for weapons, this new Half-Life will allegedly feature a grenade launcher — it sounds like it might be a standalone weapon this time, unlike in past games where it's an attachment for the SMG.
We're Even Going Back To Xen, Apparently
One of the more interesting parts of the Half-Life 3 leaks is that it will reportedly take us back to Xen, the infamous borderworld dimension we explored at the end of the very first Half-Life. Valve has said several times now about how much it regrets these old levels and how it rushed them, and the community tends to agree that they're the weakest part of the series, but we've seen with fan-made remakes like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Black Mesa that Xen can work exceptionally well as a truly alien locale. Now, it might be Valve's turn to try and redeem the borderworld.
The NoAlyx team claims that when we do revisit Xen, we'll be able to manipulate the environment and interact with the fauna ("lots of code focusing on scent, predator/prey relationships & more").
Why Gordon would go to Xen is an interesting thought — perhaps it's tied to the Borealis, the interdimensional, time-travelling ship Judith Mossman discovered at the end of Episode 2 that Eli Vance wanted destroyed?
With Alyx now in G-Man's employ, we'll no doubt be going after the man in the suit himself to find her, and piloting the Borealis into Xen would certainly be a spectacle.
