Accruing upgrades and becoming stronger is the number one goal of Melinoe in Hades 2. After all, her goal is to take down Chronos, the titan of time - and this is no mean feat. She'll need every advantage she can get if she is to🍰 be succes🅺sful.

Keepsakes are one possible way for Melinoe to gain an edge over her opponents. These accessories provide significant bonuses to Melinoe on her nightly runs, and they are quite easy to acquire - they just require a little friendly, traditiona😼l gift-giving. With so many to collect, though, you're looking at a long journey.

Hades 2 is currently in Early Access. As a result, the details below are 𒅌likely to change over time. Some details are currently unknown, and will be filled in as we learn of them.

How To Get Every Keepsake And How To Upgrade Them

A full Keepsake Collection in Hades 2

Keepsakes are acquired in one way and one way only: by giving Nectar to an NPC and receiving them in return. There are 26 Keepsakes in the game, each tied to a specific character.

You may be barred from gifting Nectar to characters based on your story pꦬrogression and their current attitudes towards you. Just keep trying!

Upgrading Keepsakes is also a simple procedure. Each Keepsake has three ranks, beginning at rank one and ending at rank three. To upgrade a Keepsake, you must have it equipped for a certain number of successful encounters:

  • To upgrade from rank one to rank two, you'll need to win 25 encounters with the Keepsake equipped.
  • To upgrade from rank two to rank three, you'll need to win a further 50 encounters with the Keepsake equipped.

Encounters are fights, not simply locations - you need to be beating enemies for the Keepsake to progress.

The table below lists every Keepsake in the game, its effects (with each rank's effects separated by slashes and boldened), and who you receive them from. Numbers that we aren't sure of but can make a guess at are in italics.
