Here's൩ everything you need to know about weapons in Hades 2.

The Satyr Champion is an optional miniboss, and with so many other paths to take in Ephyra, it's unlikely you'll ever fight him when you don't want to. But if he's standing between you and a completed codex or a beautiful, shining b🌠oon, we'll have the tips you need to confront him.

Hades 2 is currently in Early Access. As a result, the inf🦹ormation in this guide may change ov📖er time.

What To Know Before Fighting A Satyr Champion

Melinoe runs around field of Satyr Champion as he prepares a Power Shot in Hades 2.

You'll find the Satyr Champion marked as a miniboss option on one of the many available paths.

Although he's only accompanied by a few small enemies, you don't want to underestimate him and his dangerous and speedy ranged attacks.

As a result of his ranged style, the best precautions you can take into his room are:

  1. Projectile Deflection or Nullification - Hestia's 'Soot Sprint' is a great choice for nullifying some of his ranged shots while punishing him for the attempt.
  2. Speedy Movement Upgrades - Any boons that increase your attack or movement speed are helpful, such as Hermes's 'Nitro Boost.'

How To Defeat The Satyr Champion

Melinoe runs behind a pillar to avoid a power shot from the Satyr Champion in Hades 2.

The first thing to worry about with the S💝atyr Champion is the group of mi♛nor enemies in the room. These are usually birds, but they can vary.

Take out any minor enemies in the room before turning ꦛyour attention to the satyr, dodging any and all attacks you can manage while focusing your attacks elsewhere.

Once all enemies are out of the way, you should then locate the Pylon in the room.

You do not want to burst it before the minor enemies are gone, as this will detract any damage done to༒ the champion.

Melinoe strikes the Pylon in the Satyr Champion's boss arena in Hades 2.

As you begin dealing damage to the Pylon, you'll want to avoid his attacks. There are only three, so remember these two rules:

  • Dash through the satyr's dash and triple-shot attacks.
  • Take shelter behind a pillar while he charges his powershot.

The Pylon should do most of the damage in this fight, making it a very short and sweet encounter once it's broken. If he's still standing when the shades are released, finish him off and claim your prize.
