's Early Access launch is finally upon us and, if🍸 you played the first game, then you know that you're going to be in for a tough time as you help Melinoe go after Chronos and try to re🐼scue her family. That's a tough task considering how hard some of the enemies and bosses are (even when you've gotten used to their attacks), but there's a bit of a saving grace in the form of God Mode.

Hades 2 Is Hintꦚing At A Zagreus Boss Battle
Supergiant’s ho♈tly-anticipated sequel suggests that our favourite demigod may become our worst nightmare
One of the returning mechanics in Hades 2 is God Mode, an accessibility feature that acts as﷽ a way to make things a little easier on the player by giving them an important stat boost that, over time, will help them get through the game with less trouble.
Hades 2 is currently in Early Access, so the details below may change o൩ver the course of developme🦩nt.
What God Mode Does
God Mode is a toggle that can be activated at any point by the player. When selected, it is said to "instantly make you tougher, more so whenever you fail."
Once you turn it on, you'll be awarded a 20 percent bonus to your damage resistance, which means that enemy attacks will deal significantly less damage than they do when God Mode isn't active. This is already a big enough help, but the best part about the mode is that it actually increases whenever you die and have to restart a run.
If you die with God Mode active in Hades 2, you'll be granted an extra two percent on top of the 20 that you start with. This effect stacks with each death, so the more times you die, the 🎀more damage resistance you get and the higher your chance of getting through the game.
In the first game, God Mode's damage resistance stacked all the way up to 80 percent. I haven't died enough times to see if that's the case here or if it's been ra☂ised, but that might be the upper limit of the mode.
How To Turn God Mode On
Finding God Mode is very simple in Hades 2. To access it, simply pause the game at any point and head into the Gameplay section of the options menu. Right at the to🌃p of the menu, you'll see a🎀 toggle for the mode.
Cไlꦐick to turn it on, and then exit to be granted access to its abilities.
Are There Any Consequences For Using God Mode In Hades 2?
Beyond taking away some of the game's default difficulty, there are no consequences for using God Mode in Hades 2. It simply acts as a tool that lets newcomers or less skilled players make it through the game and experience the story w✤ithout struggling so much.
In my experience with the game so far, I've found that Hades 2 is a lot more difficult than the first, owing to the fact that Melinoe is a bit more complicated to control and has more tools at her disposal than Zagreus did. Even afte꧃r having beaten Hades several times over, I still found God Mode a great help for getting used to the sequel and all the changes that it makes.
