Like in the original game, Boons are a key component to succeeding in combat in Hades 2. 10 Easy Shot

Artemis Boon

Omega casting is something you want to be doin♍g a lot of in Hades 2, and with Artemis' Easy Shot Boon, you get a bit of a damage bonus with it. When you charge up your cast to ensnare enemies and hold them down within the proximity field, they'll be targeted with Artemis' arrows and receive that damage on top of the original Omega cast, which can already bring an enemy to almost near death.

This Boon will make it feel like Artmeis is still by your side, despite you not being within the same arena where you first encountered her for the Boon. It also makes the Omega cast seem even more like it's doing all the work for you, allowing you to focus on enemies outside the circle.

Aphrodite Boon

Aphrodite has a lot of excellent Boons at her disposal, even her attack-based boon stands out above the rest. But the most useful would be the 'Shameless Attitude' Boon because of its ability to reward more damage when you still have quite a bit of health left, and when is an opportunity for dealing extra damage ever a bad call?

The Healthy Rebound Boon is almost the same in that there must be a threshold of at least 80 percent of your health "to restore 100% life," but in combination with the Golden Onion keepsake from Dora, where you can regen health at the start of every area, Shameless Attitude makes more sense. Plus, getting more damage in and killing enemies quicker also ensures you won't lose as much of your health.

Poseidon Boon

Poseidon is the Olympian who's got an interesting mix of offensive Boons and those that help you collect more resources and coins. You definitely want to stick with the attack Boons for Poseidon, as they'll be much more worth it in the end. The Wave Flourish Boon acts on your special attacks and will essentially turn the Witch's Staff into something like the Umbral Flames weapon you can unlock later in the game. It will shoot out giant orbs of water that knock back enemies, which take additional damage from the knockback effect. It's a great ranged offensive technique to push back on enemies and keep them from crowding you.

7 🐻 Soot Sprint

Hestia Boon

Many Boons are tied to Melinoe's sprinting ability, offering an extra dose of damage infliction for the price of a sprint, which is something you should be doing anyway as a form of dodging during battles. The Greek god with the best one of these offerings is Hestia.

Most of the enemies you'll face in Hades 2 have projectiles coming your way, and you can sprint out of the way to avoid them, but Hestia's Soot Sprint Boon allows her Scorch curse to come into play. This will destroy those projectiles when you go into a sprint and deal Scorch damage to the enemies that fired the projectile without depleting any of your magick.

6 ꦏ Light Smite 🅘

Apollo Boon

Apollo is a new god joining the roster in Hades 2, and his Boons are all fun and play to his character's mythological strengths the best. If you're looking for the dynamic of playing with mutually assured destruction, the Light Smite Boon is what you're looking for. Your enemy takes damage with you, and in addition to that, all remaining enemies in the area get Apollo's Daze inflicted on them.

Daze is a pretty underrated and helpful curse that works essentially like Demeter's Freeze, except that it blinds enemies to temporarily stop them in their tracks from attacking, allowing you to get more strikes in while they're in a dazed state. Having the Daze effect happen when you've already taken damage is quite handy indeed.

5 ☂ Lightning Lance ﷺ

Zeus Boon

One of the main drawbacks of the Omega Cast is that you're frozen in place holding the button down to launch the binding circle as waves of enemies spawn and approach you. It gets really troublesome when you have the Screamer enemies or just any annoying enemy that's attacking you while you're casting an Omega move to trap them.

That's where Zeus' Lightning Lance Boon comes to the rescue. It's a step above other Cast Boons because it turns it into a ranged attack, allowing you to aim where you want the binding circle to be placed rather than limiting it to where Melinoe is standing. The enemies inside the Cast will also be struck by Zeus' lightning bolts.

4 Cold Storage 𒊎

Demeter Boon

The Freeze curse is one of the best for slowing down enemies and making life a little better during combat, especially when you add on Demeter's Cold Storage Boon. As you might guess from the name, it will prolong the amount of time enemies will be kept in their frozen state, allowing more opportunity for you to take less damage from them and clear them out swiftly.

This Boon will only be available if you already have a Freeze effect attached to a weapon or cast attack, which is highly recommended. Getting a longer duration for the Freeze is essential to help slow down time without you needing to rely on Selene's Boon of Phase Shift to use enough magick and slow everything down.

3 ▨ Azure Dress ♚

Arachne Boon

There's the Hephaestus way of getting armor for Melinoe in the game, and then there's the Arachne way. Arachne is a spider you'll encounter who runs her very own Silken Finery, which has sets of unique outfits you can select from that give armor and special ability Boons to Melinoe.

The Azure Dress is probably the most effective of all the options Arachne has, especially if you don't have any other Boons or other tools that can keep your magick replenished. This outfit will bestow 40 Armor to your character and replenish your magick meter by five points every second, a clear win-win.

2 🍷Moon Water ♍

Selene Boon

Moon Water is another excellent tool for healing yourself in Hades 2 because death (and lots of it) 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:comes with🍌 the territory of its roguelike design♒. This is a special Hex-style Boon gifted to you by Selene, goddess of the Moon. How these work is that you have to wait for them to become available once enough of your magick is used in combat encounters.

Hephaestus is here to fix the damage system for you, as he's the blacksmith god after all. His standard Fixed Gain Boon is already a bit of an upgrade. It's similar in a sense to Light Smite but instead, affects your magick meter replenishment, where you'll be restoring magick as you take damage, so at least the beating you get from enemies will be worth something.

What makes this all even less worrisome is that you automatically take ten percent less damage with the Fixed Gain Boon. So you're losing fewer Life and steadily gaining back your magick to continue using it against foes, especially for Omega casts that become saviors in and of themselves.
