Zoinks! The Scooby Gang is going on a rampage in Grand Theft Auto.
Grand Theft Auto, the game basically known for its violent nature, has a new gang on its streets. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, the teenage mystery solving crew of Scooby-Doo have recently appeared in GTA, doing less than the good deeds they’re known for. A video surfaced on the internet - courtesy of - of the stars of the Scooby-Doo franchise rolling around in the Mystery Machine running people down. Seems like the mystery solving team got tired of busting old men in costumes and 🍌switch꧂ed to beating on unassuming bystanders.
Of course, this isn’t an official collaboration between the classic children’s cartoon and Grand Theft Auto but there is an exceptional amount of detail put into these custom characters. Fred has his ascot, Velma is rocking her classic turtle neck and plaid skirt, even the Mystery Machine is nearly spot on. Unfortunately, there’s no way to play as a Great Dane, or any dog for that matter, but that didn’t stop the GTA Mystery Gang. In lieu of a🎃 pup with the permanent munchies, Scooby is played by an avatar decked out in a brown jacket, khakis, gloves, sneakers, and a dog mask.
This is a cross-over most people never saw coming, but the attention to detail is hard not to find commendable. It’s probably safe to say that everyone can be thankful that dogs aren’t playable characters in the GTA universe, because that would have ruined a lot of childhoodܫs.
