You can feel the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Grand Theft Auto 6 release date trailer.
Before any footage begins playing on screen, you can hear the ocean lapping the shore, gulls cawing, and the sea breeze over the water. The first shots you see are of houses along crystal clear blue water, speedboats carving foam. Over the course of the new trailer, the sun repeatedly shines into the camera. There’s a tracking shot of ice-cold beer as Jason carries a six-pack out of a convenience store. The Pointer Sisters sing “We could be so hot, hot together.” It’s only right that —thanks to ꦐ168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the rece𒅌ntly announced May 26, 2026 launch date — we’ll all be a little sweaty when we sta🌼rt playing GTA 6.
Well, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hopefully.
GTA 6 Is Going To Be A Summer Blockbuster
GTA 6 always felt unusual as a fall rele🍌ase. Obviously, I wouldn’t say no to finding it under my tree๊ on Christmas morning.
But everything about the game’s setting, and the way the trailers have sold it, make it feel like a summer blockbuster. It’s not like you can’t watch a Michael Bay movie when there’s a chill in the air, but it doesn’t feel quite right. There are certain movies that are best enjoyed when the movie theater air conditioning is your last line of defense against scorching hot temperatures, and GTA 6 is that kind of movie in video game✤ form. A previous generation talked about seeing Jaws over and over again to beat the summer heat, and staying in with a cold drink and a f🤡an blowing on your face while you play GTA 6 feels like it could be this generation’s equivalent.
Gen Alpha kids are going to sink endless hours into this game on summer break. Gen ⛄Z twenty-somethings are going to come home from their crappy jobs and use it as a way to unwind. Millennials are going to schedule time off from their slightly less crappy jobs to simulate the feeling of being on summer break all over again, trying desperately to recapture that chꦿildlike feeling of losing hours to a huge new game with endless things to do in a setting they wish they could actually afford to visit. It’s a virtual summer vacation, and even if it retails at the rumored $100 price point, that's a helluva lot cheaper than a real one. In this economy, a trip to Vice City may be all many of us can afford.
No disrespect to Gen X🀅 and Boomers, who I'm sure will be some of GTA 6's strongest soldiers.
GTA 6 Was Always Going To Miss Its Date, And This Is The Best Option
If you’re bummed ab🥂out the release date swap, I get it. As I suggested above, people plan time off around these game🌟s. In a tough economic year, a big new game can inadvertently become a substitute for a vacation, and that won't be the case in 2025.
But Rockstar would have to be a completely different company to actually hit the first release date it set for itself. It didn't do it with Red Dead Redempt♛ion 2, didn't do it with GTA 5, didn't do it with Red Dead Redemption, and didn't do it with GTA 4. This is not a studio that actually makes its initial release targets, and fall 2025 always felt more like a placeholder than a real launch window.
If you still need a big game to take a break from the real world come fall 2025, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ghost of Yotei and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Borderlands 4 are set to launch then, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Death Stranding 2 will have been out for a while, and there have been so many great games already this year like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Oblivion Remastered, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Split Fiction, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Monster Hunter Wilds, among many others that I think you can probably work ouꦉt a replacement.
GTA 6 won't launch in fall 2025, but this is a case where delayed gratification is going to be better. We've waited 12 years already, let's wai꧃t a little longer and get this right.

GTA 6's New Trailer Shows GTA Can Still Be A Political Satire Because Nothing Ever Changes
Grand Theft Auto 6 is stilꩲl a commenta🍬ry on America, it's just not concerned with the White House
