The first trailer for GTA 6, which was ♔scheduled to premiere tomorrow on YouTube at 9AM ET, has been shared by Rockstar ahead of schedule, thanks to a massive leak online from an anonymous Twitter ac꧙count earlier today.
Following the leak which saw the game's entire trailer leak, albeit with a massive advert for bitcoin slapped across the top, Rockstar Games uploaded the official trailer to its YouTube channel on Monday. The Twitter account that leaked the trailer has already been suspended, and will more than likely have an army of Rockstar's lawyers attempting to break down their front door as we speak. Most of the trailer is made up of generic shots of Vice City with some music in the background, introducing us to the people of the city. It then cuts to several videos of people capturing rather eccentric events, such as a man removing an alligator from a pool and people riding on top of c🎃ars, an unknown social media platform.
Rockstar must be pretty peeved that all of its preparation has gone to waste, with the developer 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:deleting all of its Instagram posts in anticipation of tomorrow.
Af🧸ter that, we finally see what seems to be the two main characters of 𓃲the game, who burst into a store and hold it up at gunpoint. Just like previous leaks suggested, it appears that the duo are a man and woman and have some kind of Bonnie and Clyde-esque romantic relationship.
Finally, we get the confirmation that GTA 6 will be launching at some point in 2025, though the trailer doesn't give us an exact release date. Safe to say it will be a game launching in the holiday season though, which has typically been the case for Grand Theft Auto games in the past, with GTA 4 being the exception.
For most of us, this is absolutely huge news, though Rockstar will be fuming that it wasn't done on its terms. The developer has been struggling with leaks ever since it announced the trailer would be revealed this month, with game footage and key details such as the game's map 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:seemingly leaking on TikTok courtesy of a Rockstar employee's son. We also had a leak earlier this year in which 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:gameplay footage of൩ a development build of the𒊎 🌠title was shared on social media by a hacker.
To be fair to Rockstar, it is trying to develop one of the most anticipated games the games industry has ever seen, and keeping a lid on that must be extremely difficult. Chances are we'll see plenty more leaks between now and 2025, but at least we now have a vague release window to look forward to.
