How To Increase Popularity With DJs
In the nightclub, you can book one of four Resident DJs to take over your club for as long as you want. Having a new DJ come in is great for bringing in crowds, and your popularity meter will reflect this. However, this bar does not remain full forever, so a good way to quickly replenish popularity is to book or rebook a DJ.
The four DJs available for booking are:
- Solomun
- The Black Madonna
- Tale of Us
- Dixon
If you are booking a DJ for the first time (except for Solomun), you must do a setup mission with the artist and pay $100,000. Upon completing these missions, the DJ will replace your current resident, and your popularity bar will max out. Once you have done the setup missions for each DJ once, you unlock the option to rebook them for $10,000.
Swapping out DJs is a quick way to replenish your popularity bar without the need to run multiple missions.
Increasing Popularity With 'Promote Club' Missions
You can boost popularity in the nightclub with Promote Club missions. You can start one of these missions by heading to your office in the nightclub and interacting with the computer.
There are 14 possible missions that you can complete when launching a club promotion, and each one takes anywhere between 15 and 20 minutes to complete. For each job, you will be rewarded 800RP, between $1,000 and $5,000 in cash, and 25 percent of your popularity bar replenished.
Drop Flyers
Use a nearby Buzzard to drop eight sets of flyers for your Resident DJ around the city. To drop the flyers at the location, you must fly within 500 feet above the zone to be prompted to interact with the flyers.
Place Posters
For this job, you will be given a bag of posters promoting your Resident DJ and told to put them up in eight locations across Los Santos. Your map w💎ill show t𒐪he different locations that you must visit, and you can create waypoints to reach each of them.
Recover Supplies
This job involves tracking down a delivery van stolen from your nightclub. Go to its location on the map, and you will be greeted by a few NPC gang members who will attack you when you get into the area. Clear them out, steal the truck, and drive it back to your nightclub to complete the job - but be careful, as the gang members will follow you when you are in the van.
Deliver Supplies
You will be given a location for a delivery truck full of champagne, and you must collect it as part of this job. When you collect the van, you must drive it back to the nightclub in good condition to complete the mission. Upon entering the van, there will be a health bar for your supplies. If this bar empties, you will fail the job and not receiꦇve any rewards.
Collect Clubbers
Get in the car outside the nightclub and collect two club-goers from rival clubs. Upo𒁃n entering the car, you will be given a waypoint to another club in 🍰Los Santos.
When you arrive at this location, you will be prompted to signal the clubber by honking the horn and waiting for them to enter the car. Do this twice and bring the clubbers back to your nightclub to increase popularity.
Smash Developer Vehicles
For this mission, you will be sent to damage some vehicles to scare away McGill-Olsen Construction. You will be sent to four different locations near your nightclub to cause significant damage to their vehicles. There will be around four NPCs at each location, and some may become violent when you approach the vehicl๊e.
You can kill some of these enemies, but if you kill too many people during this job, you will fail the mission - so aim at any hostile people to stop them from attacking you. When you are in the area of the vehicle, a Vehicle Damage bar will appear at the bottom of your screen.
Use a melee weapon to hit the vehicle, and fill this bar up at each location. You can blow the car up to fill the bar, but you will potentially fail the mission if you kill any enemies doing this. Cause enough damage to all four vehicles at the different locations to complete the job.
Recover Photographs
In this job, you must break into the apartment of a paparazzo and clear their drives of any images. When you enter the apartment, there will be a security camera overlooking areas of the building, so you must use stealth to find the laptop and delete the images.
If the camera catches you, the police will be called and wait outside the apartment. Onc🥂e you have finished with the laptop, leave the apartment to 🧸trigger the next part of the mission.
Tony will then ask you to take out the paparazzi member and steal his camera before he distributes any photos. Go to his locatꦑion, eliminate him, steal his camera, and then head back to the night♔club to complete the mission.
Locate Celebrity
This mission is a bit of a scavenger hunt for a celebrity, in which Lazlow will send you a snapmatic image of the last location of the celebrity. You will use Tony's vehicle from outside the nightclub to go to this first location before receiving a text from Lazlow with another image and location clue.
Drive to this second location to get another clue and image before heading to the third location. In this third location, you will find the celebrity, and you can drive them back to the nightclub.
Collect Celebrity
For this job, Lazlow will send you the locations of two celebrities you must collect and bring back to the nightclub. Use Tony's vehicle to drive to the first location, where the celebrity is posing for photos with the paparazzi.
Summon them into the vehicle and drive to the second location to collect the next celebrity. However, the paparazzi will follow you on your way to the second spot, so lose them before continuing with the mission. Go to the second location, pick up the other celebrity, and safely drive them back to your nightclub.
Rescue Celebrity
This job involves Lazlow sending you the location of a celebrity currently being arrested by the LSPD. Go there and steal the police van thꦐe celebrity has been loaded into from the two police officers on the scene.
Upon entering the van, you will be given a two-star wanted level and must lose this before returning to the nightclub. A two-star wanted level takes about 45 seconds to disappear once the stars begin flashing, so find a good place to outrun the police. You will be prompted to drive back to the nightcꩲlub to deliver the celebrity wh𓆏en the wanted level is gone.
Play Music From A Blimp
Drive from your nightclub to Los Santos International Airport (LSIA) to collect a blimp branded with the name of your Resident DJ. You will then be sent three locations to fly the blimp to and play your DJ's music over.
There will be an Interest bar at the bottom of your screen when you have reached a location, so you will play the music to fill this up and complete this loc🀅ation. Complete all three location📖s to increase your popularity.
Destroy Rival Supplies
Locate and destroy four supply trucks delivering supplies to rival clubs. The trucks will drive in and around Los Santos, so watch your map. Use any means necessary to destroy the t𝕴rucks, and complete this to restore a bar of popularity.
Eliminate Drug Operation
Find and eliminate three sets of dealers supposedly distributing product on behalf of your nightclub. On the map, the groups will be indicated by a white razer blade, so go to these locations and use any means to eliminate the dealers. Eliminate all three groups to gain popularity in the nightclub.
Collect VIPs
Enter the vehicle left outside the nightclub and drive to two locations in Los Santos to collect some VIPs. When you get to each location, signal the VIP by honking the horn, and wait for them to enter your car. Collect two VIPs🌌, and take 🍰them back to your nightclub to complete this mission.
How To Increase Popularity From Marcel's Security Jobs
One of the easiest ways to increase your nightclub popularity is to complete security missions sent to you by your lead bouncer, Marcel. Upon entering the nightclub, Marcel will occasionally text you to help with something happening at the club, which can be used to boost popularity.
There are two possib꧂le jobs that Marcel can send you texts about:
- Ejecting a troublemaker
- Delivering a VIP home, to the hospital, or to rehab
Upon completing one of these missions, there is a 48-minute cooldown before Marcel can send another job through. Each of these missions will grant you 25 percent in popularity, so can be a great way to quickly repleni♛sh your nightclub to maximize profits๊.
Ejecting a troublemaker
Marcel will text you, instructing that a problematic guest needs to be removed from the club. The three possible locations for these troublemakers are the downstairs bathroom, the main bar by the entrance, or your loading bay.
They will be indicated on your map with a blue dot, so head to their location and interact with them to remove them from the property. You will be shown a small cutscene of you and Marcel throwing the person out of the front door of the nightclub and receive $10,000 cash when this has been done successfully.
Delivering a VIP
A VIP somewhere in the nightclub hasn't been seen for a while, so you have to find them. A blue dot on your map will indicate where they are in the nightclub, so head to their location and interact with them to trigger the job.
You will then be spawned outside your nightclub in one of the club's limos and told to take the VIP to a location - either their home, the hospital, or a rehab center. In the bottom right, you will notice a 'VIP Spooked' meter, which will increa🐬se if you drive too fast or crash on your way to t𝓀he drop-off
If you fill this bar, the VIP will leave the vehicle, and the mission will fail. Drive carefully to the drop-off location to deliver the VIP, earn between $10,000 and $12,000 cash, and increase popularity.
