In some cases, however, just finding the chest itself can be difficult enough. The effort it takes to find and unlock these chests is more than worth it, though. Below, we'll take aꦐ look at how to get the Silver Key, Gold Key, and Whitewing Key to open every locked chest, and the location of each Locked Chest in Folca and Seedhollow.

How To Get The Silver Key, Gold Key, And Whitewing Key

Before you can ♒open any of the Locked Chests in either town, you'll need a specific key. He𒆙re's how to get each key.

You only need to get each key once; they aren't consumed upon opening a Locked Chest.

Silver Key

• Complete the Folca Side Quest "A Lingering Regret".

To complete this quest, you'll need to deliver one Golem Finger to the quest giver. You can get a Golem Finger by defeating the Rock Golem enemy on any 🌼difficulty🍷 or quest where it appears.

Gold Key

• Complete the Seedhollow Side Quest "Out of Serpentine Spite".

To complete this quest, you need to defeat one Cobra enemy. You can do this fairly early on in the Quest Counter quest "Rilla Done Did It". In this quest, Cobras will eventually appear as you kill other enemies. Simply defeat one and repoౠrt back to the NPC to get the Gold Key.

Whitewing Key

• Unlock Maniac Quest Difficulty.

You unlock the Whitewing Key automatically after completing Chapter 0 of the story and unlocking Maniac Quest Difficulty. To do this, you'll need to first beat the Final Chapter, then progress through the Quest Counter quests that are marked with red crossed swords until you gather all of Rolan's Journal Entries.

Folca Locked Chest Locations

There are four Locked Chests in Folca; here's🌸 where to find each of them.

Folca Chest 1 - Silver Key

From Sierokarte's Knickknack Shack, head to the right. Walk down this path, and you'll soon see the Locked Chest at the end, to the right of a staircase.

Folca Chest 2 - Silver Key

To get this Locked Chest, start at the Blacksmith. From here, head to the right, then take the right path when the road splits at the pond.

Go across the wooden bridge, and the Chest can be found on the right a short distance ahead.

Folca Chest 3 - Gold Key

From the second Folca Chest, turn around and head a short distance forward, until you see a roof with a cat on it to the right.

Here, you can jump onto the roof. Now, jump up to the second level of the roof and head around to the back of the building to the balcony, where the Chest is located.

Folca Chest 4 - Whitewing Key

To get the final Folca Locked Chest, head up to the front doors of the church. Here, walk to the right, up the staircase, then take the left path when the road splits.

This Chest is hidden behind some bushes in the corner, against the wall of the church.

Seedhollow Locked Chest Locations

There are a total of six Locked Chests in Seedhollow, detailed below.

Seedhollow Chest 1 - Silver Key

The first Seedhollow Locked Chest is found to the right, just outside of Zathba's Appraisals. After completing the Final Chapter, you can fast-travel di🐭rectly here.

Seedhollow Chest 2 - Silver Key

This Chest is found to the left of Siero's Knickknack Shack.

Seedhollow Chest 3 - Gold Key

To get to this Chest, start at the Quest Counter. Here, head to the right of the Counter until you see an NPC selling flowers.

Next, take the right path that leads to an up staircase, then take this road all the way to the gate. The Chest is found on a raised level to the right.

Seedhollow Chest 4 - Gold Key

From the docks, head straight until you get to a landing with red floors, just before you enter the main square.

Here, turn to the right to enter a small area where the Chest is found.

Seedhollow Chest 5 - Whitewing Key

From Siero's Knickknack Shack, head forward and to the left until you see the two large red staircases.

Here, turn to the left, to the street that heads down to a slightly lower level, then continue forward a bit until you find the Chest to the right.

Seedhollow Chest 6 - Whitewing Key

To get the final Locked Chest in Seedhollow, head to where you found the fifth Chest. From here, turn to the left and head down the dark alleyway.

The Chest is found just past the first corner where the street turns to the left.
