Kratos may not be very fond of these blades, but we most certainly are. Forged by the original Greek God of War, The Blades of Chaos has always been with us throughout the series. In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:God of War Ragnarok, these blades combine powꦏerful attacks with a further range than the Leviathan Axe (except when yo𝓰u throw it). They also allow you to hit multiple enemies at once with our combos. You can take advantage of the iconic weapons even more by using potent light and heavy Runic Attacks to your advantage.
It can be overwhelming to test all options, especially considering you need to spend experience points to make them better. Thus, here we'll evaluate them, one by one, so you know which ones are the best.
10 Hel🤪ios Flare (Light)
Ah, remember Helios, one of our previous Head companions in the series? He's remembered in the Norse era through this Runic Attack. His flare is a bolt of fire that you can throw forward, hitting whoever you're aiming at. It helps occasionally since hitting things from great distances can be a problem for the Blades.
That said, if the distance is a problem, you would be better off switching to the Axe or the Spear, both of which will always be better during these moments. However, if enemies are rushing up on you and you need room to breathe, the flare pushes enemies away, so it's up to you.
9 💞 Flames Of Anguish (Light)
Quick and painful, this Runic Attack offers good combo potential. Essentially, you'll throw an enemy upwards and burn them a little. It doesn't do much damage, but it's one of the quickest runic attacks to activate, so it won't leave you stuck in a long animation, and juggling an enemy into the air for further attacks can be useful as well to change combos.
If you're close to an edge, you can also use this attack to throw enemies out off the map too, although there are better options for that sort of move with other weapons.
8 H🌞ades Retribution (Light)
This is ওanother good option for those who enjoy abilities that are quick to use. This attack is divided into two parts; Kratos will stab the person in front of him, and leave a bomb stuck to that stabbed enemy, which will then explode shortly after, damaging any enemies neജarby.
This Runic Attack is good because it is simple to use, and it's great at interrupting an enemy's attack since it's quick to activate. All this is combined with the fact that it has a short-is cooldown too, so you can use it often, making it a strong light Runic Attack.
7 Tartarus Rage (Heavꦇ♈y)
A classic attack from the Greek Saga returns in Ragnarok as a Runic Attack. You will let out two heavy hits on the ground in front of you, which will both send enemies upward and stagger them. It's also very strong when it comes to damage.
The biggest problem you'll have here is that the whole attack takes a great deal of time to use, making you vulnerable in the process. You better make sure you'll hit whoever you're aiming at, otherwise, you could be in trouble.
6 Rampage Of 𝓡The Furies (Light)
Despite being a light Runic Attack, the damage dealt by this attack is great. It will see you let out a consistent series of attacks on one enemy (though you can hit multiple if they're close to each other). Upgrading this attack will make it last longer, thus causing more damage as Kratos lashes out with his blades.
It has a similar problem to the previous entry however; this is a long attack that will make you vulnerable for quite some time. At the end of the attack, you'll also push back the enemy, giving you some breathing room.
5 Nemea♚n Crush (Heavy)
Though it's one of the weakest heavy Runic Attacks, it still is a heavy attack, meaning it causes a lot of damage. It compensates for being weaker than other heavy attacks by being one of the quickest heavy Runic Attacks in the game. Kratos will simply hit the blades together, causing a fiery explosion in front of him.
It's useful to stop your enemies due to its speed. You can also send multiple enemies flying backward, being more efficient in clearing some space or throwing people off ledges.
4 🦋Cyclone Of Chaos (Light) ꦬ
This is another one of the many classic moves from the Greek Saga, and one of the most popular ones at that. Though its damage isn't very high, it still has two very useful upsides; first, its reach and duration allow you to hurt a lot of enemies at once for quite some time, even being able to kill weaker enemies in the process.
Second, all enemies hit by your blades during this attack will get stuck in place, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:including bosses. This allows you to stop most enemies in their tracks, and interrupꦛt them when they t✨ry to use more powerful attacks against you.
3 ✱Meteori♏c Slam (Heavy)
This attack isn't the best, to begin with, but quickly shows its worth if 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:you're killing all the ravens you're finding, as the area of effect that this attack covers will get wider. The meteors that fall around the area you've hit will cause a lot more damage compared to many other heavy Runic Attacks.
These meteors also burn enemies and will stun them for a bit, allowing you to start punishing them as soon as you're done casting your Runic Attack.
2 𝕴 Atlas Eruption (Heavy) 𝕴
This attack was one of the best spells from God of War 2, so it is cool to see it brought back all these years later. This attack will see you hit your blades on the ground (re▨peatedly, if you keep pressing) to create a plethora of explosions around you, with the final explosion being greater and pushing everyone away.
It hurts, traps, and pushes enemies 🐓away afterward. What more could you want?
1 🌃 Tame The Beast (Heavy) ꧂
This heavy Runic Attack works similarly to the Eruption, with a series of attacks you can continue to unleash by pressing the button over and over, but it's more focused on whatever is in front of you, rather than being a large area around you. This attack also doesn't push enemies away.
Still, you can hit multiple enemies at once if they're close enough and, to compensate for this narrower range, the damage here is significantly higher compared to Eruption, making this one more suitable for more significant threats, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:such as the Berserkers.
