The series continues, and the latest arc ends. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:God of War is ready to say goodbye to Norse mythology with Ragnarok, and we have an amazing new game in our hands to have fun with, with many realms to explore and many fights ahead of us. As this chapter ends, we also see a bunch of weird things happening, mostly due to the "it's a game, just deal with it" thought process.
All that said, it's funny to notice these details, even when they're minor and not relevant to the overall story. Here you'll see some of these details that aren't really explained.
Spoilers For God of War Ragnarok Ahead
5 Loss Of Power 𒀰
Likely the biggest example of the "it's just a game" thing mentioned is the loss of power, seeing as we don't have many of the powers unlocked previously. God of War used to explain the loss of powers, but let's be real; getting an explanation for that in every game is not easy. They didn't even bother with the spin-off titles, such as Ghost of Sparta. We have all the weapons and armor explained away by them getting worn out, but things such as runic attacks and combos aren't explained, and we just accept it. Perhaps Kratos is just getting old.
Funnily enough, in a conversation between Kratos, Freya, and Mimir, they talk about Kratos losing the powers he got in Greece, and they theorize that these powers died when the land died. That theory is all fine and good, but if that is the case, wouldn't the Blades of Chaos be regular blades, then? Still, it's something to think about.
4 ꦰ The Mask Lead To Helheim🥃
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:During Atreus' adventures in Asgard, you help Odin complete an odd mask that can be used to💙 see through a sort of tear in reality, which allegedly has answers for all questions known, including how to stop Ragnarok. Atreus can translate the information w🍃ritten on the pieces of the mask, with each piece leading to the next one. The first piece is already with Odin, the second is on Muspelheim, and the last is on Niflheim.
However, at one moment, Atreus mistranslates the mask and searches for a piece on Helheim, which later causes a lot of trouble for releasing a powerful creature called Garmr. All that said, when you arrive at each of these areas, you use the mask to find its pieces, with the mask glowing when you're going in the right direction. But if that's the case, why is the mask glowing on Helheim if Atreus mistranslated its content and there's no mask piece on the realm?
3 🏅 ꧂ Quick Heal
A thing that God of War 2018 is also guilty of is quick heal. In that game, Kratos heals himself during the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fight against Baldur at the beginning of the game, and here, we💜 have Atreus doing the same thing after the Bear inꦆcident. Both Kratos and Atreus simply concentrate and heal their bodies. How?
Yes, the game just wants the characters to be in full health for whatever is about to happen, but an apparent quick heal is very useful. Even if they couldn't do that during combat since they need focus, where is the "concentrate button" for us to use after the fights are done? We could be walking around in full health, at least. It would be very helpful to prepare ourselves for the side bosses, like the Berserkers, for instance.
2 Everyone Travels Between Realms 🐟
The game tells us early on that traveling between realms through Tyr's temple is no longer possible, and the Dwarves do a lot of weird shenanigans to explain the new travel system. That's all fine and good, but not only does Odin travel to wherever he wants, in whatever realm he wants, but so do his soldiers, who just drop in some areas to fight, with Bifrost energy even being a thing.
If that wasn't enough, Odin does it by just wanting to. His ravens circle whoever he wants and takes them to a new location. No ceremony, no Bifrost. They just go to wherever the ravens take them. Odin doesn't owe us any explanation, but it's odd when everyone can suddenly do what we've been told is hard to do.
1 Fake Tyr's Hiding Place
During our adventure, we find out that the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tyr we rescued on Svartalfheim was actually Odin all along, where he disguised himself to discourage us from the war and be aware of our next moves. A very efficient trick, catching everyone by surprise, players included. However, how did he know he should be on 💞Svartalfheim, to begin with?
The clue of Tyr's location came from one of the Giant's shrines. Did the shrine lead us to fake Tyr, or did the characters misinterpret the clue? Regardless of the answer, how did Odin know where he needed to be? It's not like he could access the secret area from the shrine as Atreus could. The best-educated guess is that his ravens overheard us, and from that, he placed himself in the mine. Still, like the previous entry, Odin doesn't owe us any explanation.
