The story campaign of Ghostwire Tokyo lasts for a short while, but there is more content for you to enjoy in the whole game. There are a total of 42 side quests that you will unlock throughout the campaign. One of the side quests, After the End, is𒆙 a three-par⛄t side quest, which you will find a walkthrough of in this guide.
After The End Side Quest Overview
You will unlock the side quest at the end of Chapter 4. You will first need to kill the enemies at the Tori Gate of Toyoi Shrine for the After the E🐈nd side quest to spawn on the map.
Once you are about to ride the motorbike to the next area near the end of Chapter 4, the game will ask you if you really want to continue. There is no point of return to this quest after you choose to progress further in the fourth chapter. If you decide to continue further, the side quest will become unavailable. However, you can fast travel back to Shibuya City ඣat some other time to complete the rest of the side content that you missed.
The side quest puts you in search of a wandering spirit named Erika at the request of Rinko. Erika was the daughter of Rinko and a friend of KK, who got separated fr💦om them. Rinko wants to find out more about her daughter and what she was up to, so she sends you out for this job.
How To Complete After The End I
Start the quest by heading to the west side of Shibuya and answering the phone there. You will find the location of the 🌃phonebooth marked a꧙s a green marker on the map.
On answering the phone, Rinko will tell you to head to a location she has marked on the map. Once you reach the marker, you will find yourself in a park with some evil spirits. Kill the enemies and look towards the psychic residue of a woman with a cat. KK will realize that the woman is Erika and tell you to follow her trail using the Spectral Vision ability.
Follow her trail and keep clear of the Visitors on your way. You can kill them if you want, but it is better to stay clear of them so that you don't waste your time. If you lose the trail of Erika, use the Spectral Vision ability again to find the trail and get back on track.
Once you reach the Shibuya 429 Landmark after going through the convenience store, there will be a group of Visitors in the area. A Shiromuku will also spawn near the objective that will attack and stop you from proceeding further. Kill the enemies and investigate the area where Erika's psychic residue sat down.
You will find Ed's tape recorders on the place where she was sitting down. Pick up the tape recorder and head to the phone booth marked on the map. Once you get close to it, the phone will start ringing. Answer the phone to end the first part of the side quest. You will get 3,000 Meika, Retro 1 Camera Filter, and 500 Spirits for completing the quest.
How To Complete After The End II
Head east of Shibuya city to the marked payphone on the map to start the second part of the side quest. Rinko will mark the rooftop of Shibuya 429 and tell you to check it.
Look for a Tengu to grapple onto at the back side of the building. Go from one roof to another until you reach the marked location. There will be a group of Visitors on one of the roofs, and Erika will be standing on the edge of the roof. Defeat the Visitors first and pick up the Bubble Era Folding Fan relic from the stage.
As you approach Erika's psychic residue, she will jump off and glide to the hospital roof across the street. Track her trail and follow her psychic residue. Go from rooftops or jump down to the ground 🌠level and get to the roof of the hospital.
On the top of the hospital roof, you will find Erika's residue and another Ed's tape recorder. Before you can pic💙k up the tape recording, a group of Visitors will attack you. Take care ꦚof the enemies and collect the tape recording.
Head down to the ground level with the tape and go to the phone booth that will get marked on the map. Pick up the phone when it rings and report to Rinko to complete the side quest. Completing the side mission will get you 3,000 Meika, Monochrome 2 Camera Filter, and 500 Spirits.
How To Complete After The End III
After you get the Fragrant Underworld Oil for the Chapter 4 mission, you will see the last part🌺ও of the side quest marked on the map.
Head to the marker on the Toyoi Shrine and answer the phone. Rinko will tell you another location where you can look for Erika's psychic residue. Head to the location just southeast of the phone booth.
You will find the psychic residue of Erika looking down at a road. Get near the residue and follow her when she takes off. She will lead you to a small buiꦕlding that you can enter.
Once you enter inside, you will find yourself in a room filled with water and electronics equipment. You will be inside Erika's memories, where you will need to look for a keychain with a cat shape attached. It ಌwill be on the tab🅰le right in front of you as you enter the room.
As 🍸soon as you pick up the keychain, a group of Visitors will spawn. There will be two waves of Visitors. Clear the waves and൲ exit the room through the marked door.
Again as in the previous parts of the side quest, go to the ringing payphone marked on the map and pick up the phone. Tell Rinko about the keychain you found. She will tell you that she was the one who gave Erika the Cat Keychain. The keychain is a device that responds to ether and was lost by Erika when she was getting fighting lessons from KK. Rinko will end the call, and all three parts of the side quest will be over. On successfully completing the third part of the side quest, you will get 3,000 Meika, Taiko Drummer Outfit, and 500 Spirits.
Completing the three-part side quest, After the End, will net you a total of ﷽1,500 Spirits, 9,000 Meika, and other goodies. There are no achievements or trophies for completing the side quest other than the usual rewards and extra information on Rinko and her daughter Eri💮ka.
