Ghost Of T🐓sushima: How To Lock On To Enemies
Here is how to♎ toggle between various lock-on options in Ghost Of ꦐTsushima.
The game's open world demands exploration, and visiting every place on foot will become tedious in the long run. Jin's horse can be called anytime during exploration, be it attacking a Mongol camp, fleeing from an overwhelming crowd, or any other tough situation. But for tꦉhat, you must select a horse first.
All Horse Options
After a brief introduction chapter, you reach a point where Jin Sakai selects a horse.
The horse you finalize will accompany him for the rest of his journey in thwarting the Mongol conquest of the island﷽ of Tsushima.
Here are the horses you will find after reaching the stables with Yuna in the game:
- White Horse
- Black Horse
- Dapple Horse
- Brown Color Horse (Available only for Digital Deluxe Edition Or Director's Cut Owners)
- Black And Red Color Horse
If you pre-ordered the game on Steam or Epic Games Store, you will find the black and red colored horse in the fifth slot, right after the brown 🌊colored horse when you start th🐼e game.
If you did not pre-order the game, this horse selection only appears on the NG+ difficulty setting.
Once you have finalized a horse, Jin will get to decide what name to call his horse. You will have the follow🐻ing name presets available in the game:
- Nobu (Trust)
- Sora (Sky)
- Kage (Shadow)
Which Horse Should You Pick?
The horse selection has no implications over gameplay and story as they are aesthetic selections only.
All the horses have the same stamina, speed, galloping distance, enemy detection range, and more. Basically, there are no stats for horses that distinguish one horse from another.
It all boils down to the horse's color selection and your personal preference. Once you finalize a horse and its name, it remains with you throughout the journey.
You can neither replace your horse nor change its name once you have finalized.
