The Lantern Rite event is offering up a bunch of fun shenanigans in Liyue Harbor, which has been decked out in Lunar New Year regalia. According to the trailer, townsfolk w🤡ould be clogging up the streets, lanterns would be strewn about the rooftops, and festivities would be taking place around every corner.
Turns out, that's not quite the case.
The stark contrast between the two i🦹s made all the more apparent by the lack of audio during the gameplay clips, but it's clear Liyue Harbor isn't quite as bustling as fans had expected. Minor complaints aside, the Lantern Rite event is a great way to pick up a few exclusive rewards and see the beautiful town in a new light.
Genshin Impact recently released its 1.3 Update, adding a new character – X💞iao. Although he's a powerful addition to your party, you'll likely need to make dozens of pulls before he finally makes an appearance. The latest update also included various quality of life improvements and new items.
