Since Kaveh is a main DPS who infuses his weapon with Dendro upon triggering the Elemental Burst, you'll have to upgrade all three of his active talents to get good value. This means that you'll need thrice the number of resources mentioned in the table above. Moreover, you'll also need three Crowns of Insight if you want to upgrade his Talents to level ten.
You can get Crowns of Insight through certain limited-time events in each update, which means that you roughly get one every six weeks.
Although, you do get some extra Crowns whenever a new area gets rele🍒ased after you spend special currencies to upgrade the tree in that area.
You can get Teachings, Guides, and Philosophies of Ingenuity through the Steeple of Ignorance domain located on the northern side of the Sumeru Rainforest. You'll only find these books when it's Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday according to your server time. It's recommended to save your Resin from a day before if you're planning to farm them.
You can unlock a Weekly Boss called Warden of the Last Oasis after finishing Nahida's second story quest, and this boss will give you Primordial Greenbloom. There's a one in three chance to get this drop every time you fight the boss, but you can convert the other drops from the same boss to this one using a Dream Solvent.
Where To Get Nagadus Emerald Crystals For Kaveh
Nagadus Emerald is one of the seven crystals that belong to the seven elements of Teyvat, though it's significantly harder to get this one since it was released later on in the game. They're green and you can get them from multiple sources:
- World and Weekly bosses are the main source of Nagadus Emerald Crystals. You can get them every time you claim the reward after defeating the Dendro Hypostasis, Jadeplume Terrorshroom, or Warden of the Last Oasis. You'll have to spend at least 30 Original Resin to claim these rewards.
- Each update in Genshin Impact comes with multiple events, and these events have a chance of giving you some of these crystals as well. Though you only get about six Fragments of each crystal from a certain event. These rewards can only help you get the initial ascensions on a character.
- Finally, you can also convert other crystals of the same rarity into Nagadus Emerald using Dust of Azoth. This item can be purchased from the Paimon Shop, and you'll likely use it a lot while upgrading Dendro characters.
If you're new to the game, getting the required amount of crystals might be the hardest out of all the materials.
Where To Get Mourning Flowers
The northern area of the Sumeru Desert consists of two regions called Gavireh Lajavard and the Realm of Farakhkert. A bunch of Mourning Flowers are scattered around these two areas, and the best places to find them are the various water bodies apart from the Vourukasha Oasis. You can 🍨also find s🃏ome near the Tunigi Hollow area.
If you want to have an easier time finding these flowers, it's recommended to have Tighnari in your party since he has a passive that can detect nearby regional specialties of Sumeru. You can get this character by pulling on the Standard Banner or by losingꦉ your 50:50 on the limited character banner.
You'll need to farm Mourning Flowers more than once if you want to get enough for Kaveh.
You can mark the general locations of these flowers to make it easier to get them the next time.
It takes 48 hours for any regional specialty to respawn after you ☂pick them up.
Where To Get Fungal Spores, Luminescent Pollen, And Crystalline Cyst Dust
Fungi are special enemies scattered in the entire region of Sumeru, and you can get all the mob drops required for Kaveh from these enemies. You can find Fungi for each element and they exist in both small and large form. Smaller Fungi have a rare chance of dropping♛ an itemཧ, while the bigger ones will always drop something.
Although, it can be quite tricky to fight these enemies because of how they react to different elements. If you apply Electro or Pyro to these Fungi, they enter an Activated or Scorched state respectively. Defeating an ene꧋my🦋 in these states will drop different items, which are completely useless since no character uses them.
Some Fungi will also have Electro or Pyro applied to them through the environment automatically.
If you're fighting an enemy in an Activated or Scorched state, it's necessary to bait them away and not defeat them until the state decays away. You'll be able to tell when the enemies are in a normal state just by looking at themඣ. Bow characters like Ganyu or Tighnari are ꦚthe best to fight these enemies since they can also stay high up in the air.
The good thing is that there are so many of these enemies scattered across Sumeru that you'll be able to farm enough drops if you go around the region just once.
