One of the most common Sumeru-exclusive resources you'll find in the region is the Sumeru Rose. It matches the flower in Lisa's idle animation, meaning it wasn't just created from Lisa's imagination. Lisa has ties to Sumeru, as she was one of the Akademiya's best students, so the flower in her hand makes sense. Is it a sign that she misses Sumeru?

Among Sumeru's areas, there's a desert that's almost like a counterpart to the rainforest region. A fun detail as you travel through the desert is that the sand marks your movements. You don't just leave footprints on the sand, you also leave unique marks according to the characters and weapons you're using.

Enemies' movements and attacks also leave tracks in the sand. This makes an otherwise barren land more fun to explore. Plus, it can be seen as a parallel to how the Irminsul trees' Leylines record whatever happens, as if the sand is also 'recording' what's happening.

The ancient Irminsul tree in Sumeru in Genshin Impact

The Irminsul tree in Sumeru is quite important to Sumeru City, as it's the beacon of knowledge. Even the Dendro Archon, who's known as the god of wisdom, has her consciousness directly connected to the Irminsul tree. Thus, her knowledge is Irminsul's knowledge.

On top of that, parts of the Irminsul tree show up as the Leylines we know in every region. Since Leylines record everything that happens in Teyvat, this is all transferred to the Irminsul tree. The trees in Domains are also Irminsul trees. So, Irminsul trees are not a new thing in Genshin, but they're part of a much bigger system that records all kinds of data.
