For a post-apocalyptic sci-fi game, Death Stranding is a very strange one in terms of storytelling and gameplay. You're a mysterious porter named Sam with your occupation and company being a part of your name, you have a connection to the President of the United States, a connection to an unborn 'Bridge Baby' that revives you via 'repatriation'. Urination can craft grenades, and there's a whole social strand system to connect with players that you don't see.
