At the end of the first season, Daenerys' dragon eggs finally hatch, and you're introduced to the babies Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion. Throughout the series, you get to see them grow up and bicker as siblings do. And then they turn into the mighty dragons that help Daenerys on her quest to reclaim the Iron Throne and earn her such titles as "breaker of chains."
However, not all of them survive until the end of their mother's journey, and Viserion's fate comes with the most shocking twist. Viserion was defeated in a battle with the Night King's army of White Walkers and was resurrected into an undead Wight dragon to be used as the Night King's mount during the Battle of Winterfell.
Baby Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion, freshly hatched and with their mother Daenerys Targaryen in the Season 1 finale of Game of Thrones, appear once more in a vision Daemon experiences at Harrenhal's weirwood tree in the Season 2 finale of House of the Dragon.
The egg clutch from Rhaenyra's dragon Syrax is also seen in House of the Dragon's second season and confirms that Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion will be born from it.

Long dead before t🔯he Dance of the Dragons (seen as skull only) |
Balerion, alternatively known as The Black Dread, only appears as an enormous skull in the Red Keep in both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, considering that he's one of the original five dragons of Valyria and the largest in all the Targaryen dynasty.
This was the dragon of King Aegon I Targaryen, or the Conqueror who would unite Westeros, and Balerion received many riders after, including Aegon's son Maegor the Cruel and later Viserys I Targaryen (his final rider).
Balerion gets his nickname for his massive size, black scales, the black fire that he's able to breathe, and also his "wingspan so vast that entire towns would fall under his shadow when he passed overhead." Aegon would often travel all throughout the realms with Balerion and make a show of him as a way of quelling rebellion.

What Drogon is to Daenerys Targaryen, Syrax is to Daenerys' ancestor, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Syrax gets her name from the Valyrian goddess and has amber-yellow coloring on her scales. Another distinguishing feature is Syrax's dragon horns, which are four long, curved spikes, as well as her fan tail that's different from the straight ones seen on the other dragons.

House Of The Dragon: The Targar♑yen Family Tree, Explained
Following every single one of the Targaryen characters in House of the 💝Dragon can be difficult with their nu🔥mber and similar names.
You see Syrax bonding and riding with Rhaenyra and occasionally intimidating her enemies (including Aemond and Vhagar), but considering Rhaenyra is the Queen, you're rarely to see the duo in battle.
Also notable are Syrax's clutch of dragon eggs, which will not only hatch a dragon named Morning, who will eventually become Rhaena Targaryen's mount, but were also revealed to be the future dragons of Daenerys Targaryen – Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion.

Caraxes is the loyal red dragon to Daemon Targaryen, King Viserys' brother and Rhaenyra Targaryen's uncle, who also will become her husband and serve at her side during the civil war with Alicent Hightower and the greens.
Nicknamed the "Blood Wyrm," this dragonꦑ is known for his bright red coloring, long serpent-like body, small horns around the mouth, web-winged legs, and a split fantail similar to Syrax.
In Season 1 of House of the Dragon, Caraxes has already been in some action with Daemon during the War for the Stepstones, where the dragon swiftly laid fire to many of the Crabfeeder's forces. In Season 2, Caraxes accompanies Daemon to Harrenhal, an accursed and ominous castle on ⛄the shores of the Gods Eye, to broker negotiations with the Riverlords.

Another dragon that makes an appearance alongside Caraxes in Episode 3's War for the Stepstones is Seasmoke, belonging to Laenor Velaryon, who is the first husband of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and the son of the Sea Snake, Lord Corlys Velaryon. You can already tell why the dragon might be named Seasmoke, as it belongs to a family that rules the seas.
Seasmoke also has the lightest colors of all the dragons, a palish-gray with notes of blue in the scales with some red blending into the wings. When his dragonrider Laenor has to flee his home and fake his death, Seasmoke doesn't remain riderless for long.
The dragon chooses Corlys Velaryon's illegitimate son, Addam of Hull, to be his next rider. The two will participate in the many battles yet to come ✨in the Dance of the Dragons.

Meleys is the next dragon to be featured in House of the Dragon, and this one belongs to King Viserys' cousin, Princess Rhaenys Targaryen, and before that, belonged to Viserys' mother Alyssa Targaryen.
Like Daemon's Caraxes, Meleys is another fearsome red-winged beast otherwise referred to as "The Red Queen." Her rider Rhaenys, who was notoriously stripped of her chance of ascending the Iron Throne, is called 'the Queen Who Never Was.'

House Of 🎃The Dragon: Every Major House, Ranked
How💦 do all the major houses in House of the Dragon compar🅠e, and which one comes out on top as the strongest?
You first see Rhaenys taking flight with Meleys over the Narrow Sea to King's Landing on their way to her son Laenor Velaryon's wedding to Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
The next time you see Meleys is not so cordial of an event. Rhaenys storms the coronation of King Aegon II with her dragon as a show of discontent, but Meleys only goes as far as giving a bellowing roar to Aegon and Ali🐼cent before taking ofജf.
Rhaenys enters battle with Meleys in Season 2 of House of the Dragon, specifically the fighting at Rook's Rest. The two courageously take on Aegon II mounted on Sunfyre and Aemond on Vhagar, which doesn't end well, but they don't give up nonetheless. Meleys ultimately gets killed by Vhagar, sending Princess Rhaenys to fall to her death in a heartbreaking moment.

Age |
Approximately 181 years old |

Vhagar is like the Godzilla of the skies and a miracle to still be around during the Dance of the Dragons. The book describes Vhagar as the "oldest and largest of the dragons of Westeros," and that's certainly because she was bonded to Visenya Targaryen, the Conqueror's sister and wife during the conquest of Westeros. Vhagar would later be bonded to Viserys' father Baelon Targaryen.
Vhagar's story from thereon is quite tragic. Laena Velaryon, Daemon's wife before Rhaenyra, is bonded to Vhagar, but after going through a childbirth that would claim her life, Laena requested that her dragon burn her alive to die a dragonrider's death. Shortly thereafter, Vhagar was stolen and claimed by Alicent's vile one-eyed son, Aemond Targaryen, to get the beast on their side in the war.
Vhagar and Aemond commit some of the cruelest atrocities in the war, starting with the killing of Lucerys Velaryon and Arrax and then Rhaenys and Meleys (especially tragic since Meleys and Vhagar were bonded to husban🔯d and wife and mother and daughter). Aemond even has Vhagar set fire to all of Sharp Point.
But what Season 2 has revealed, and what we know in Fire & Blood, points to Vhagar and Aemond's lives hanging in the balance over the Gods Eye.

Vermax is the dragon of Rhaenyra's oldest son with Laenor, Jacaerys Velaryon (whose biological father is really Ser Harwin Strong). Jace first encounters a very young Vermax down in the Dragonpit when he's just a young boy himself. He gets Vermax to heel in Valyrian and then allows the small dragon to dracarys and feast on a goat.
The next time you get to see Vermax is when the preparations for the war with the greens are beginning. Jace rides Vermax to pay a visit to Lord Cregan Stark of Winterfell to inquire about House Stark's loyalty to Rhaenyra in the war to come.
You later see a visual of a more mature Vermax watching Jacaerys as he negotiates with the Freys at the Twins. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The introduction of Sharako Lohar also means you'll be seeing Jace and Vermax in battle.

Age |
Approximately 97 years old |
Gender |
Female |
Status |

Directly after you meet Vermax in House of the Dragon, you meet a much larger and older dragon who's majestically named Dreamfyre. Dreamfyre hatched during the reign of Aegon the Conqueror and was once the mount of King Aenys I Targaryen's daughter, Rhaena (who would later become the wife of her uncle King Maegor after he usurps Aenys' son Prince Aegon), before being bonded to the eventual Queen Helaena Targaryen, daughter of King Viserys and Alicent Hightower.

Dreamfyre is first encountered by a young Aemond venturing deeper into the Dragonpit after his brother and half-nephews pull the prank of gifting him the pig called "Pink Dread" and deceive him into thinking that he'll receive an actual dragon. The dragon is quick to send a cloud of flames Aemond's way to send him scurrying off, which is what also later gives him the courage to steal Vhagar. As Season 2 unveils, Helaena is reluctant to ride Dreamfyre into battle.

King Aegon II Targaryen |
Age |

Status |
Alive, though severely injured by Vhagar in the Battle at Rook's Rest |
First seen in distant shots and perched atop a mountain, Sunfyre is by far the most beautiful dragon House Targaryen has to offer. There's a reason the dragon is referred to as "Sunfyre the Golden," as Sunfyre's colors are incredibly vibrant and display notes of shimmering gold, green, and pink like a rainbow parrotfish (especially the wings and chest).
Though he may be bonded to one of the most important characters in the conflict, the usurper King Aegon II Targaryen, he gets the least amount of screen 🍌time in Season 1. But in Season 2 and beyond, you see a lot😼 more of Sunfyre.
King Aegon rides with the dragon to face off with Meleys in the Battle at Rook's Rest, only to be caught off guard by the fire and wrath of his brother Aemond and Vhagar, leaving both of them horribly injured.
