There are rumors swirling that suggest Fortnite might be getting a six-person squads mode that will allow more people to play on the same team together. You'd think that would be a popular addition to Fortnite's BR opt༺ions, but initial reactions to the new mode's rumored debut have been largely negative.

Notable Fortnite leaker shared the news that Fortnite appears to be working on a six-person squads mode. Since Fortnite's inception, players have 🐎had the option to drop in to its battle royale mode alone, ꦫwith a fellow player, or as part of a four-person squad, along with a trios option that was added as a limited-time mode at a later date but stuck around due to its popularity.

Epic appears to be working on a six-person squads mode

Update: Nobody wants it

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Epic Games likely assumed that the more squad size options, the better, hence it seemingly working on a💖 six-person squads mode. However, the reactions to Shiina's tweet are filled with concerns rather than anticipation. The leading fear among players seems to be that the addition of yet another core mode will further split the player base, taking regular players away from existing modes to try out what the BR experience is like in teams of six.

Although Fortnite has a hug🅠e player base, that base is spread out over various game modes. Not just the different ways to play BR, but also Fortnite Festival, Lego Fortnite, and the countless fan-made ways to play the game that are added to every single day. While most still stick to the traditional way to play, an additional mode will further water things down, potentially leaving people facing off against more bots each round than they do already, another concern expressed multiple times in the wake of th🐭e six-person squad mode rumors.

The other concern expressed is what will become of the rest of your t꧂eam after you've dropped. Playing with random people in Fortnite comes with the risk of those randoms darting off in different directions to do their own thing once the match begins, leaving you at the mercy of the first semi-organized squad to come across you.

The risk of that is increased by a six-person squad. Even if only half of them♈ abandon you, that still leaves three of you to fend off against teams of six that are made up of people who actually know each other and are communicating over headsets. Sure, if you don't have five friends to play with, you can just not partake in six-person squads, but that brings us back to the first problem of the other modes being more watered down and filled with bots than ever.

Epic does occasionally listen to Fortnite fan feedback and take it on board. Sometimes it just ploughs on regardless, though, especially if a plan is already in motion. Players were very unhappy wꦜith the abrupt removal of Team Rumble last month, and it still lo😼oks like we'll never be getting it back.
