Where To Find The Cardboard Box
The Cardboard Box is a Mythic quality item that will let you hide from opponents. You can find it as standard loot in Fortnite, which means that it can be found on the floor or in chests and other randomized loot drops. It seems to be a fairly common item, especially compared to the other Metal Gear🌞-insꦡpired items.
If you head to major POIs and search through chests and buildings, you're likel𓃲ꦆy to find a stack of Cardboard Boxes.
You can also purchase a Cardboard Box from Solid Snake on the northernmost island on the map. You can find the character wandering around a fire pit in the middle, where he'll sell you a Cardboard Box for 100 Gold. It's a good deal as long as you don't get eliminated by other eage꧟r players.
How To Use The Cardboard Box
To put the Cardboard Box disguise on, you'll need to throw it at your feet. This will cause your character to hide under the box, with their feet sticking out of the bottom. To appear as if you're a single still Box, you can press the crouch button toggle to remain in place.
If you exit the Box, it will remain in place as if you were crouching in that location. You can also add decoy boxes by throwing them on the ground away from where you're standing. This can make your enemies ♚paranoid as they try to decide which, if any, you're hiding under.
If you try to throw a Cardboard Box while inside of one, your character will pop out of the top.
When using this strategy, you can take advantage of your opponents' confusion to launch a surprise attack.
