Fortnite Chap༒ter Five - How To Spin Degrees Whi♏le Airborne And On Foot
This vaguely worded Fortnite quest 🐲can be confusing.
You won't have to go it alone though, as the TMNT have air-dropped supplies and sent their famous weapons to assist in fighting against Shredder and the Society on the island. The key to stopping Shredder and saving the island from his schemes is knowing where to find theꦯ TMNT weapons and what powers they give you.
Where To Find TMNT Weapons
As with most weapons, you'll find the TMNT weapons in chests, as floor loot, and in supply drops. However, you can also find them at special TMNT Vending Machines that are spread across the map, as long as you've got 300 Gold Bars.
There are at least six TMNT Vending Machines scattered across the island, with the weapons they offer being randomly set at the start of each match. They also sell pizza, which can heal you in a pinch as well.
TMNT Vending Machines can be found at:
- The southeast corner of the building at Rebel's Roost
- Between two of the docks at Ritzy Riviera
- In the middle of Pleasant Piazza
- South of the red court at Classy Courts
- The northern entryway of the building at Grand Glacier
- Under the red-roofed building at Hazy Hillside
In addition to the vending machines, you can also find Fortnite's TMNT weapons in Supply Drops.
A guarantee you have to find special TMNT weapons is to locate the specialized supply drops before someone else does.
You can see these falling from the sky or on the map via tiny icons that show which weapon they hold. Each of the four turtles has their own weapon in the game, with the colors denoting them on the map. If you can see the icon on the map, that means the Supply Drop is either currently falling or is sitting on the ground waiting for you.
How To Use TMNT Weapons
Using the new TMNT weapons gives you a range of powers inside of Battle Royale as long as you have them equipped. While the powers are the same, the animations and combos are a little bit different. You can only equip one TMNT weapon at a time.
Ability |
Effect |
How To Use |
---|---|---|
Melee Combo |
Create a combo on 🥃the ground ending in a finisher. |
Hold the 'Fire' button. |
Air Attack |
Does a large ground attack. |
Press the 'Fire' button in midair. |
Dash Attack |
Dash forward and thrওough the air🐠 for around 20 meters. |
Press the 'Alternate Fire/Aim' button. |
Double Jump |
You can jump twice. |
Press the 'Jump' button in midair. |
These abilities aren't without their limitations, as the Dash Attack only has three charges that take ten seconds to refresh each and the double jump only works if you have stamina.
Melee weapons against a ranged enemy aren't a good idea head-on, so try catching them by surprise to deal damage before they know what hit them.
Since each of these weapons largely functions the same, you can find one early on and switch it out later when you find something that you like better.
