Doctor Doom's Arcane Gauntlets are a Mythic item that holds the potential to completely shift the battle in your favor. Acquiring it is no easy task, but if you have the right ꦍapproach to things and know where to get this weapon, you're going to make Doctor Doom (and your ♈squad) incredibly proud.
Where To Find Doctor Doom's Arcane Gauntlets
In the top right corner of the map, you'll spot a location called Castle Doom. As the name suggests, this isn't a place filled with rainbows and butterflies, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it is indeed a hot spot in the game. This is a dangerous location to land at, and we recommend first looting a bi🐓t before crossi🌳ng paths with the Doombot boss.
Castle Doom is the home to the Doombot and his henchmen, so you can expect a big fight when trying to claim Doctor Doom's Arcane Gauntlets for yourself. Defeating the Doombot will drop the gauntlets, along wit🐼h tꦡhe Doombot Siphon Medallion and Doctor Doom's Monarch Pistol. All of these are extremely useful items in the game, but the Arcane Gauntlets take the spotlight here.
You can also acquire these by fighting and defeating opponents who might be carrying one with them. But one can only get so lucky, right? Instead, it's better to get the gauntlets by defeating the Doombot.
Unlike the other Marvel-specific items this season, these Ga🌠untlets cannot 🃏be found in Doctor Doom and Avengers Chests.
How To Use Doctor Doom's Arcane Gauntlets
Making your way through the castle, you'll start hearing 'boss music,' which is a cue for you to start feeling very, very nervous. No need to worry, though, as long as you're being a little stealthy and manage to sneak up on the boss. After defeating Doombot, you can equip the gauntlets and s🌺tart using them in several ways.
The gauntlets primarily do 50 damage, with an impressive 75 DPS. You can use the usual weapon-trigger button for its primary attack, which feels faster and more controllable compared to the heavier a♍ttacks. With your ADS trigger, you can make a bigger attack that hauls a powerful ball of energy, almost similar to the Magneto Power gauntlets from last season.
The gauntlet's "bullet drop" makes it best for short to medium-range attacks rather than🌼 something you snipe enem⭕ies with.
Gameplay Tips
Keep in mind that the fire rate isn't as fast as that of a usual gun or weapon that uses light ammo. Even though the gauntlets have infinite ammo, there are short breaks 🅺between each attack. Therefore, the gauntlets pair grace🦩fully with War Machine's Hover Jets. This synergy lets you stay mobile while the gauntlets recharge.
When midair, keep firing the gauntlets' primary attacks. This takes some practice, as the damage can be highly precise, as if you're using a mid-range weapon to aim your shots. The Hover Jets don't need additional input from you and can be toggled on and off. So, once you're midair, just focus on using your gauntlets. And don't forget to𒈔 keep an eye on the fuel bar!
It's important to note that you cannot necessarily "aim" with the gauntlets. Whenever you try to ADS, you will do a heavy attack instead. It's best to switch to another weapon (preferably one with a scope) if you need to be more accurate when deal🙈ing damage with a gun.
Speaking of which, the gauntlets do heavy AOE damage with its secondary attack. This can be used to p🔯ush enemies out of hiding and even hit multiple enemies at once. You can also use it to stop opponents who are driving a car, thinking they're safe from you. The damage will slow them down and cause considerable damage to the vehicle. Try to destroy the car (and the pla☂yer) if you can.
Furthermore, Doombot's Siphon Medallion pairs well with the gauntlets, as any elimination you obtain grants you shields and health. Use this to your advantage when third-partying other squad🥂s. Why let go of an opportunity that𝓀 could work in your favor? Look at you; you're the Doombot now.
Another interesting synergy can be found between Captain America's Shield and Doctor Doom's Arcane Gauntlets. The moment you throw the shield, switch to the gauntlets and start attacking instead of waiting for the shield to come back. Doing so will keep your damage output consistent, giving enemies very little chance to retaliate. Yep, i⛄t's the least appealing combination you'll see in Marvel's context, but it works!
Consider firing at structures like buildings and trees to completel💎y destroy them. Not only does this intimidate enemies, it also forces them to come out of hiding.
