Other NPCs sell useful items like high-rarity weapons and heals to help you survive the desert wasteland and beyond. While there are a few familiar faces on the map, there are someꦓ new folks added to the list. What Are NPCs?

If this is your first time braving the wilds of Fortnite Island, you may be wondering what exactly the NPCs do, and how t♓hey're different from the bosses♐ in the game.

An NPC is a Non Player Character, and though the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:bosses fall under that ca💧tegory as well, for the sake of this guide, they don't count.

In Fortnite, an NPC is any bot that you can talk to and either recruit to join your team, or purchase items from. Each recruitable NPC brings their own set of skills to the table, and can sometimes mean the difference between victory and defeat. Here we will discuss two distinct categories of NPCs: Recruitable and Non-Recruitable.

Every Recruitable NPC Location And The Services They Provide

Recruitable NPCs will join you as an extra teammate to fight alongside you and your teammates. You can also tell them to stay, follow, or have them revive a downed teammate.

Each NPC that can be hired has a unique set of skills that set them apart fromꦏ each other. These special skills include the following:

• Scout Specialist: This type of NPC will scout the area every 30 seconds or so and will ping any treasure chests or enemies nearby. They can be a great asset when you're looking to loot for heals or ammo, or if you need to know if there are any enemies nearby.
• Supply Specialist: These guys are also great to have on your team, as they'll drop different kinds of ammo for you to pick up. Sometimes they may also drop building items (if you're playing in Builds), or heals.
• Heavy Specialist: Heavy Specialists bring extra firepower in the form of cluster bombs that they love to throw at your enemies.
• Medic Specialist: If you're having trouble keeping your health up, having a Medic Specialist on your team is a must. When you're low on health or shields, they'll splash you with heals to fill you back up.

Non-Recruitable NPC Locations And The Services They Provide

Several of the NPCs available to talk to on the map are not recruitable, but they ca𒅌n s𝓀till be very valuable to your team.

When you talk to these NPCs, you'll receive a gift, usually a Shield Potion or a Medkit, and then they offer you services you can purchase from them. Sometimes it'll be weapons, health items, or a quick Patch Up.
