Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 goes live today, and it's bringing with it yet another Marvel col♍laboration that isꦚ specifically all about Doctor Doom.

As you'd expect from a new Season of Fortnite, Absoluteꦚ Doom is bringing with it a number of gameplay changes and🃏 new items, including a bunch of exciting Mythics based on Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Panther. , but Epic has shared more details about what they'll be able to do over on the Fortnite website.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Gameplay Additions Detailed
Now that we've officially reached the start date of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, for the new season. Most exciting of all are the Mythics, of which there are currently three that have been revealed.
The first is a new War Machine Mythic, which lets you "unleash a hailstorm of bullets and rockets" while also granting players the ability to fly with hover jets. The gameplay reveal trailer made this seem like an Iron Man Mythic, but we now know for sure that it's actually themed around War Machine.
Absolute Doom also sees the return of two vaulted Mythics - Doom's Arcane Gauntlets and Captain America's Shield. Cap's Shield appears to just show up on the island anywhere, while Doom's Gauntlets are specifically picked up by defeating Doombot at Castle Doom. Funnily enough, Epic has already confirmed that Doom's Gaunlets won't be allowed in tournament play, suggesting they're a bit OP.
The gameplay reveal trailer for the season seemed to suggest there would be a Black Panther Mythic, but it's nowhere within Epic's big gameplay update post.
Outside of the Marvel-themed special weapons, Absolute Doom also has the Monarch Pistol that drops from Doombot, Mysterio's Sovereign Shotgun that's dropped from defeating him in Doomstadt, and the unvaulted Striker Burst Rifle from defeating Emma Frost in The Raft prison. The Dual Micro SMGS are also returning in this Season, and even have a pink variant that can be picked up from Gwenpool.
That seems to be it for new gameplay additions to Absolute Doom, but the blog post also reveals several returning weapons and items, including the Combat Assault Rifle, Ranger Pistol, Hammer Pump Shotgun,🍌 Gatekeeper Shotgun, Hyper SMG and the Shockwave Grenade.
