Finding Inaya's Shrines is important for stay🐭ing alive in Flintlock.

On the surface, the battle against Inaya isn't anything you haven't seen before. However, you'll need to be smar♛t about when and how you use your pistol if you want to withstand her heavy blows, and beware of her instantly fatal attacks as the fight draws on.

This guide details the fight with Inaya on Possessed, the gꩵame's highest difficulty setting.

Best Build For Fighting Inaya

a good build for fighting Inaya in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.

Despite the fact that, like most bosses, Inaya starts armored, you'll want to stay away from hammers for this battle. Instead, start with fast melee weapons like Nor's Axe or the Herald's Blade. You need to use melee attacks to recover Black Powder Charges; Inaya's tendency to jump around means you need to get in as many strikes as you can, when you can. Keep the Harbinger's Axe in reserve for the second phase.

If you haven't unlocked the Momentum and Extra Shot skills yet, do so before the fight. You can easily grind for Reputation by fighting the Dead in the tre༒nches, or returning to Three Peaks or Wanderer's Rest to finish any side quests you may ha♔ve missed.

The Skirmisher's Pistol is the best choice for your sidearm. It doesn't deal as much damage as other pistols, but it has the highest ammo capacity, which is what matters for stopping Inaya's re🤡lentless unblockable attacks.

You probably won't be firing at Inaya directly with your secondary firearm, so take the Hand Mortar and Wildfire Mortar. Their blast attacks will helꦿp deal with Inaya's totems in the second phase of the fight. If you manage to catch the boss and deal a little extra damage, so much the better!

Equip the Sapper's Set for faster Black Powder recharging, with a third armor piece of your choice. Enki should have the Cursed Jade to inflict Poison on Inaya and wear her down a little faster. It also helps to have that one extra Curse on her for healing if you have the Curse Siphon skill.

Lastly, equip Ripper Grenades and Wildfire Grenades. The former is a great way to op🐟en the fight. You may not get a chance to actually use the Wildfire Grenade once Inaya's mask is off, since she attacks so much faster, but it's better to have it and not need it!

Alternately, you could swap the Wildfire Grenade for Blast Grenades and use them to clear to🐼tems if you're better at switching consumables th🌸an active reloading.

How To Beat Inaya's First Phase

Start the fight by tossing a Ripper Grenade at 🌳Inaya's feet then dodging backward. This will inflict Bleed on her, causing her to take damage through her armor. Once that's done, switch to the Healing Flask and get ready to counter a bunch of attacks.

The good news is, Inaya heavily telegraphs most of her attacks, giving you a fair amount of warning. The bad news is, she doesn't usually attack in a specific pattern, so you won't know what's coming until she leaps into the air or raises her arms.

The vast majority of Inaya's attacks are unblockable, and most of the ones that can be parried don't have follow-ups to exploit. Watch for the telltale red warning dot, then shoot her with your pistol to interrupt the attack. Send Enki to attack, rush in yourself, and make two quick melee strikes; after that, watch what Inaya does and react accordingly, repeating the process. If she doesn't attack right away, hit her a few more times to restore Black Powder Charges. Don't ꧂let yourself run out under any circumstances.

Inaya's primary blockable attack starts with her raising her right arm (the onꦯe on your left). Try to parry it and counter with a melee attack. The same animation som🍃etimes leads into an unblockable strike, so have a finger on the pistol trigger just in case.

Continue this cycle until Inaya's Priming Gauge is full or her health bar is halfway depleted - at that point you'll get an automatic Critical Attack that removes her mask and moves on to the second phase.

How To Beat Inaya's Second Phase

The very first thing Inaya does after she puts her mask back on is try to grab Nor. If she catches you, it means instant death, so get as far away as you can while she's getting up. After that, Inaya will start another salvo of u෴nblockable attacks, only this time they're much faster.

Now that her armor is gone, Inaya is susceptible to Burn damage. so switch to the Harbinger's Axe. Build up as many Burn stacks on her as you can. Her heal🐼th bar will drop much faster now, but she has one more trick up her sleeve.

When her health is down to about one-quarter, Inaya will drop three totems around the arena. Each can be destroyed with a single attack from any weapon, but they're relatively far from one another. Use your pistol and mortars to destroy them as quickly as you can.The totems send out purple pulses along the ground. If one touches Nor, you'll be stunned, allowing Inaya to make a Critical Attack of her own, ending the fight. Even if you're fast and efficient, it's likely that at least one totem will get a pulse out before you can deal with it; jump over the pulse to avoid it.

Once the totems are destroyed, focus back on wearing down Inaya. The Burn damage should have her almost dead, so a few solid melee strik﷽es will be all it takes to finish her off.

Unlike most other boss fights in the game, the battle with Inaya doesn't start until🍌 you interact with the door. That means you can reclaim your lost Reputation and leave to gཧrind elsewhere if needed.
