DC is full speed ahead on the upcoming Superman movie, set to launch the new era of the DCU under James Gunn's stewardship. The movie arrives in early July, and will be a tone-setter for everything that follo🍬ws it for DC. However, none more so than Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which arrives hot on its heels in 2026.

Details have been scant on the movie so far, but we've finally got some behind the scenes photos to sink our teeth into. We're still waiting on the official costume reveal with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock in the classic attaire, but star David Krumholtz ha♋s wrapped filming and has shared a look behind the scenes.
Superwoman Logo Revealed
Krumholtz, who audiences may recognise from Oppenheimer (but probably not from The Santa Clause, where he appeared as iconic character Bernard The Head Elf as a teen), plays Zor-El in the movie, Supergirl's father. On his Instagram post, he revealed his own set chair, thanking several of the cast as he confirmed he had "wrapped" shooting. It's likely his part is smaller than some of the major players, like Alcock herself or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Jason Momoa (who is 💞no longer Aquaman, but is now Lobo), who are probably still filmin𒆙g.
However, the most interesting part of the post is that it appears to be our first official confirmation 🐽of the Supergirl logo. Alcock's previous BTS pics did not include the text. The blocky yellow lettering has a more retro look, which seems to fit the direction of Gun🥀n's new vision for DC.
His Superman seems to be a classic high morality figure, not a tortured soul trying to navigate the pressures of his own existence before eventually turning evil. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:It's a refreshing take on Superman, and one fans will be looking forward to.
In his message, Krumholtz thanked Alcock and Gunn, as well as on-scree🍌n wife Emily Beecham, who plays Supergirl's mother Alura,✤ and the movie's director Craig Gillespie, as well as Peter Safran, who is leading DC's new direction alongside Gunn. With little of Supergirl's plot known, it's hard to say how much of a role Zor-El plays in the movie. However, the fact he doesn't thank Momoa suggests he may not have any scenes with Lobo.

Gunn replied thanking Krumholtz for his work, so unlike Momoa's recent🐲 almost-tease of his Lobo look, it seems this 'leak' of the logo is authorised and not the sort of thing ♔an actor is forced to quickly delete. Production logos change all the time, too, so it may be that the actual logo doesn't quite appear as it does here. We'll find out (hopefully before) Supergirl: World of Tomorrow arrives in cinemas on June 26, 2026.
