Campo Santo's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Firewatch is a beautiful, character-driven adventure ga𝓡me with a bittersweet and unforgettable story. It can be the kind of game where the complete experience of the art, story, and incredible voice-acting overshadows gameplay goals – but that doesn’t mean there aren’t achievements and trophies to be collected along the way!
The Ol’ Shoshone Achievement is relatively easy to get. It is also extremely easy to miss since Firewatch gameplay inv🥃olves more choice than it might seem at first glance. This achievement can🏅 only be collected during a small in-game window and is located, as so many great things are in Firewatch, just slightly off the beaten path. Read on to find out where, when, and how to unlock this ac✱hievement!
What Is The Ol' Shoshone Achievement or Trophy?
To unlock the Ol’Shoshone Achievement, you must find and pick up a cassette tape that has been passed between rangers, Ron and Dave. This tape, and the accompanying note, is a key part of their narrative arc and unlocks a recording of Ron performing a rendition of the original song Ol' Shoshone on acoustic guitar. (This song is available to hear on Spotify along with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the rest of Chris Remo's evocative score.)
When Can You Get This Achievement
There is a relatively small in-plot window in which you can unlock this achievement. You can collect the cassette tape on Days 77 and 78 only🧸, as you will not have the necessary item to access the area (the axe) before that. On Day 79, you can complete✱ the same actions to acquire the cassette tape and view the letter, but the achievement itself cannot be unlocked on this day.
The good news is that if you miss it during your playthrough, there’s no need to restart the entire game, which can be frustrating since this achievement can only be completed in the late-game stages. You can unlock this achievement anytime post-game in the Thorofare Free Roam mode. To access this mode, exit to the opening menu screen, then select “Special Features.&rdqu⛦o; You can select the Thorofare Free Roam option from there.
What You Will Need
To get this achievement you will need the axe which you will get on Day 76. The axe is left behind by a band of firefighter💙s at Camp Arapahoe, in the south-east corner of the map below the Ruby River. It will be marked on your map as “Scout Camp.”
If you are attempting to get this achievement in the Thorofare Free Roam mode, the axe is located on your desk in the Two Forks Lookout, where you will start out. Make sure to grab the axe before heading out.
Where To Go To Unlock The Ol' Shoshone Achievement
This achievement is awarded once you’ve collected a cassette tape located just south of Beartooth Point (the northꩲ-east ꦏarea of the map).
You may come across a dead elk – the cassett📖e tape is just west of the elk through ൲a gap in the brush.
At this point the trail will be blocked with a patch of thorny branches. You will need to use your axe to clear the way.
Continue west to find a camp chair, a number of empty bottles, and old note, and the cassette tape. Once you’ve chosen to keep the cassette tape, you will get the achievement.
Directions from Two Forks Lookout
In Thorofare Free Ro♏am mode, you will wake up as usual in your bed at the Tw𒈔o Forks Lookout. Here are some detailed instructions on how to get from your camp to the dead elk near the cassette tape.
Starting fr🅷om the Two Forks Lookout, follow 🐻the winding path north towards Cave 452.
The first landmark you𒁏’ll pass is the Outhouse – that will indicate you’re on the correct branch of the path.
You will need to 🏅drop down a rocky cliff to continue on the path to Cave 452.
You will also need to jump across a🐟 broken bridge to continue t🍒owards Cave 452.
Drop down into the (slightly creepy) Cave 452, and make your way to the only open exit to the n🦋orth.
You’ll exit at the east end of the Thunder Canyo♛n River. Cross it, hop over a log on the trail, clear a gap in the brush, and follow the Thorofare Trail north for quite a ways until you reach a trail marker for Beartooth Point (0.2 miles ahead) and the Thorofare Fire Lookout.
From here, head due west into a clearing, past a number of large boulders toಌ find the dead elk.
